Wow, what a night! I was moonlighting away from the band last night, performing for Leslie Ball and Dawnie at their amazing event SKA-megeddon Burton at the Tower Brewery in Burton on Trent.

What a fantastic venue. If you ever need somewhere for an event then get in touch with them and their beer is amazing. I highly recommend the Imperial.

Anyway the evnt was sold out and I performed 2 sets. First up as The Dualer International and then 2nd set as the Ska Man International. Just a brilliant crownd and atmosphere.

Love the Ska community. Not just community, they are all family!!!

So , the cat is out of the bag. I mentioned that I had some exciting news coming in the New Year and I didn't lie.

I have tried to start a ska band and nearly joined another ska band, but due to work etc and distance that didn't materialise, however, last year I was asked to dep fora local SKA band called The SKAs, I had a great night and then went back to my solo work.

Fortunately for me, their current lead singer, the phenomenal and now legendary, Mr Tony Ross, decided to call it a day at the end of last year. His final gig as their front man is this month.

The guys called me up and asked if I wanted to join them, which I whole heartedly snapped their arms off and said yes. They are local to me and everything fits in place work wise for me.

So, I am now officially the frontman of The Skas. This year we will be bringing you the very best in 2-tone and Ska and also will be working on a brand new original EP, with some songs already written and laid down.
