FEATURED EXHIBITOR – NOTTS COUNTY CRICKET CLUB
The romance of Trent Bridge, like most great romances in English history, began not in a flowery meadow, or by a babbling brook.
It instead blossomed in a pub. William Clarke fell in love with the landlady of the Trent Bridge Inn – and a year after marrying her in 1837, he was hosting cricket in the field around the back.
Today, that field is home to one of the most famous, traditional, picturesque cricket grounds in the world.
A place where charm, character and elegance are in abundance, where many a magic moment has taken place.
Cricket-lovers or not, a wedding at Trent Bridge promises nothing short of perfection, with all the care and attention to detail you’d expect from a venue that’s parodied itself on its hearty welcome for over 150 years.
