Married in Nottinghamshire at Bridgford Hall, West Bridgford Registration Office, on Saturday 22nd August 2026 😍
Their Celebrant Registrars, Dawn & Rachel, supported by Usher, Deborah, conducted our Modern Marriage Ceremony as chosen by the happy couple, enhanced with personally written promises 💞
Katie & Luke first met through their children, who became friends at school. After countless chats at children's parties, friendship blossomed into love 💌
Their engagement was just as special, with Katie proposing during a mini break in York via a homemade Christmas card, encouraged by her daughter. Luke accepted with a homemade Christmas card of his own! 🤩
Their four children were at the heart of the day, choosing the pastel yellow, green, lilac and pink colour theme. Luke's eldest daughter was his 'Best Girl', while the other girls were bridesmaids, and together they wowed guests with an interpretive dance to 'Orinoco Flow' by Enya at the reception! 💃
After their big day, Katie & Luke said, “Everyone we spoke to at the Registration Service throughout the booking and planning process was so warm, friendly, and professional. We were able to bring our children to visit Bridgford Hall ahead of the wedding day, so they'd be familiar with it, and this helped the girls feel even more comfortable on the day. The ceremony itself was so well-organised, everything ran like clockwork and we were able to relax and enjoy getting married!” 🥰
