Slumbering...
This past few months have been interesting to say the least.
I'm in two minds about creating new content, it's been a year of consistent posting & it is beginning to feel like I am getting to the point of diminishing returns. (The more I put in, the less I get out. It's like reverse Trading...🥸)
It is rather sad.
I do enjoy making content, but nobody likes to work for free & burnout is a real thing, it is not just a video game. 🏎️
Anyway...I went for a walk yesterday, the walk turned into a random trip to West Bridgeford, just to see the sights. 😁
Shortly after returning to town, I hit up Fonzse, it had been a while, from my call history, our last convo was in July!
Anyway, we linked up & had a chat about both of our music journeys. It was an important chat & that chat we had yesterday, is the reason you are seeing what you are seeing right now.
EDIT - So I wrote this caption in my Notes, somehow this "FML" sloth thing appeared?
I do not know where it came from, but I found it interesting that it popped up while I'm typing this.
I do not even subscribe to the idea of "FML" - I have clean water, food, roof, friends, music, the idea of fu***ng my life would be so selfish to those who have way less than me. Do better, surface dwellers.

I do believe this is the 1st time FONZSE & I have done a session like this. ✅
I do believe this is the 1st time I've mixed Grime, DUBSTEP & Bassline. ✅
I do believe this is the 1st time I've hit record on a set without having any CUE points or DEEP knowledge of the TRACKLIST I am playing from. ✅
I do believe this is the start of SOMETHING New. (Khalifa) ✅
The creative process behind this set was compelling. After the chat we had, I was CHARGED up. I felt like we should strike while the iron is hot.
I had a folder of over 2,000 beats for MCs & I said F**K IT, let's head to the studio & have a session.
It was NEVER meant to be recorded.
It was just meant to be a practice SESSION. (Coff coff hence the levels 👀🤭)
It was meant to be a time to JAM, ya feel me?
In the end, Fonzse & I recorded, listened, edited & uploaded this set in 2 hours.
It was 7pm when I hit that record button & 9:05pm when I hit that upload button on MC & SC.
Alright, alright..it took 2 hours and 5 minutes.
Obviously, this set is numbered 001, so 998 more to go?
My favourite part of this set is when Jonin came in...JONIN!!! 😅 🇯🇲🇯🇵
I hope you get far enough in the mix to appreciate & experience it.
