Come on folks - If your'e missing Jimmy's scran from the van then get yourselves to Janson Fishery between 7am - 10am Mondays and 7am - 1pm Tuesdays to Sundays.

You will find Jimmy at the cafe at Janson Fishery, Redmile Lane, Elton.

You don't have to be fishing or camping to enjoy Jimmy's Scran so please pop along and start your day The Janson Way.

Meet Jim – The New Face in the Café 🍳

We’re pleased to introduce Jim, who’s starting in the Janson Fishery café today! Jim will be helping keep everyone fuelled with hot and cold drinks, plus tasty hot and cold food for anglers and visitors alike.

• Monday: 7:00am – 10:00am
• Tuesday to Sunday: 7:00am – 1:00pm

A new menu is coming soon, so keep your eyes peeled, and remember that you don’t need to be fishing with us to pop in! If you’re passing by, you’re more than welcome to stop for a brew, a bite to eat, and a friendly welcome.

Have you missed seeing Jimmy's cheery face as he cooks your breakfast ?

We have some news for you....

As from Monday 5th January you will be able to find him cooking away at the Cafe at Janson Fishery, Redmile Lane, Elton, Nottingham NG13 9FA.

Unfortunately the car park isn't big enough to accommodate HGVs.

Opening times will be 0700 to 1300. Seven days a week.

Why not have a couple of hours fishing in one of Jansons 7 lakes, stock up on Jansons award winning baits or treat yourself to some new fishing tackle from the on site shop.

Maybe you would like to stay for a break in one of the glamping pods or pitch your own caravan/camper and chill for a while.

Jimmy's Scran Van now has a new owner. I hope you will all give Loren your full support. Loren is keeping the company name and sticking to our menu so the only real change is the bubbly blonde behind the counter. This was a very hard decision to make, but Jimmy's Scran Van is up for sale.

Fully equipped catering trailer with gas griddle, overhead extractor fan, electric bain marie, microwave, hand wash and pot wash sinks, gas water boiler, 3 fridges, 1 freezer, petrol generator, colour coded boards and knives, utensils and all the equipment needed to get you straight up and running. Diary dates for private hires. Daily pitch A52 southbound lay by, Lings Bar, Gamston

After a waste of time visit to the QMC this afternoon, we will be closed tomorrow so Jim can get to the City Hospital first thing in the morning. Sorry for making you guys starve for an extra day but we need Jimmy running on all 4 cylinders to keep u guys fed and watered.
