We are so excited to announce that Speed Shear 2026 is returning to The Dovecote Inn on Saturday 15th August from 5 PM.

After such a brilliant night last year, we can’t wait to do it all over again, and it's all for a fantastic cause!

The event is proudly supporting the Farming Community Network (FCN) and Nottingham Hospitals Charity

We are absolutely thrilled that Bofshogs has been nominated for the Countryside Alliance Awards — often known as the Rural Oscars. It’s a real privilege to be recognised in this way, and we couldn’t be more excited to be among the finalists.

There are so many truly excellent businesses in the finals, many with larger followings and incredible support behind them. As the outcome comes down to the number of votes, we know we’re up against some strong competition and, as a small but mighty business, we’re realistic about our chances.

That said, simply being nominated means the world to us. We’re so proud of what we’ve built, so grateful for our amazing customers and community, and honoured to stand alongside such inspiring rural enterprises.
