The Walled Garden 1865 was the first recorded wedding at Beeston Fields.

We would like to think they chose it because of it's beautiful parkland setting, nestled within 135 acres, because of it's Victorian splendour and the grandeur of the 19th Century country house, but actually it was the Fellows family who lived here. With this gorgeous setting, we are just ten minutes from the centre of Nottingham and the M1, making us an ideal location for your wedding.

We’re excited to be hosting the Sustainable Wedding Alliance’s Carbon Literacy Training (with certification) for wedding professionals and industry friends here at The Walled Garden on Tuesday 4th November. We'll be throwing in a free lunch too!🍂

From next year, we’ll only be recommending suppliers who are actively thinking about and exploring their environmental impact, so we'd love to see some of our lovely suppliers and wedding professionals get involved, our whole team will be taking part too!🌿

Lately we've been joined by some very special guests - some hidden and others on full display!

Surprise encounters from pheasants, newts, and frogs remind us just how vibrant our garden is, no matter the season.

Pheasants are particularly noticeable right now, choosing to leave their cover in cooler mornings to forage - and in doing so, adding a burst of colour to the garden which we love!

Our Story

Hidden behind the main House sat an old, derelict garden. Surrounded by a beautiful red brick wall and left unattended for many years until we opened the gates and work began in 2011. The garden has been lovingly restored over a number of years and has become a marvel of wildlife and blooming flowers. All year round the Marquee and Garden offer an exclusive old English event venue.
