✨Win a Christmas Party for 10 people in Nottingham!✨

We're back with another the chance to win a table at one of our 2026 Christmas party nights. Winners will get 10x standard tickets to any available shared party night in December for an evening of cosy, festive fun.

This winter, we are transforming into a cosy, rich botanical escape inspired by jewel tones, winter florals and candlelight. Tickets include a welcome drink on arrival, a delicious three-course festive meal, live entertainment and a DJ.

October in the garden and it’s still looking beautiful 🍂

With autumn settling in, our gardeners have had a little more time to develop different areas of the garden.

This month, they’ve been working on our herbaceous border, removing larger areas of geranium and weaving in more Stachys byzantina and Alchemilla mollis.

The asters and sedums are bringing some beautiful depth to the borders, the crab apples are starting to poke through on the apple arch, and the last of the roses are flowering before the first frost arrives.

With the strong winds we’ve been having, some of our rose shrubs have been pruned back to prevent damage, while the rose hips from our older varieties have been left for the birds to nibble on over winter.

As the leaves fall, they’ll be collected in our leaf mould bay, ready to be used as mulch. We’re also leaving the hydrangeas untouched until their new buds appear in spring, helping to keep some structure in the garden through winter.

And wherever we can, we’re leaving seed heads for the birds to snack on through the colder months.

Not long now until bulb planting season and the rich shades of autumn fill the garden 🧡

A wedding reception that just oozed joy!🤍

These photos of Tasha & Josh's wedding landed in our inbox this week, and they painted a smile across all our faces. What an utterly beautiful celebration this was. From the décor, to the disco ball, all the guests and the couple were grinning from ear to ear all day long.

The last few days at Pippley!

We hosted a really fun private soups & sauces cookery class for this lovely bunch celebrating a birthday. If you’d like to organise a private cookery class get in touch 💌

The gardeners harvested all the quinces from our tree, which are already being turned into quince jelly by our chefs. Come down to our Christmas Market this November to buy yourself a jar!

Then we headed out on our annual team walk over in Padley Gorge to get some fresh air following a busy wedding season 💚
