I wanted to pop on and introduce Augustin Events Creative Studio to anyone who might not have come across me yet. 🤍

I’m Jazzmine, and I run a small creative studio here in Annesley Woodhouse where I host relaxed, beginner-friendly creative workshops, events and experiences.

The studio has been a little project of mine for a while now, and it’s been so lovely seeing it slowly come to life and welcoming people through the doors.

At the moment, I’m running a mixture of sewing, painting, wreath making and seasonal craft workshops, with lots more planned as we head towards Christmas. 🎄

The idea behind the studio is really simple, a lovely local space where you can come along, learn something new, get creative and spend a couple of hours slowing down and enjoying yourself. You don’t need to be “good at crafts” and you certainly don’t need lots of experience!

I’m also really passionate about keeping things local and sustainable, so wherever possible I use recycled, donated, pre-loved and locally sourced materials within the studio and workshops. ♻️

It’s been amazing to see people from Annesley Woodhouse, Kirkby-in-Ashfield and the surrounding areas starting to discover the studio, and I’d love to welcome more local faces.

A little look at our weekly sewing workshops

Small, relaxed classes where you can learn, practise and build your confidence with a sewing machine with plenty of support along the way.

Whether you’re completely new to sewing or just want to get back into it, there’s no pressure to be perfect. Just come along, have a go and enjoy being creative

Perfect for anyone who’s always wanted to learn but just hasn’t known where to start!

I’m hosting an Autumn Paint & Sip evening at the Augustin Events Creative Studio on Thursday 15th October, 7–8:30pm — and I’d love to fill the studio with some lovely local faces!

I’ll guide you through the painting step-by-step, so even if you haven't picked up a paintbrush since school, you can come along and have a go.

And you don't need to know anyone else coming — come with a friend, bring your partner, or book a place just for yourself. These evenings are all about switching off, getting creative and enjoying a couple of hours doing something different.

Yesterday we hosted our very first sewing workshop in the Studio

A lovely, relaxed session learning the basics of sewing and getting to grips with the machine and I’m really excited to see these little sewing sessions grow.

I’m keeping the classes intentionally small, so there’s plenty of time for individual help, support and guidance throughout the session. Whether you’re completely new to sewing or just want to build your confidence, this is for you.

Our next session is this Friday evening, and we have just a couple of spaces left!

If you’ve been wanting to learn to sew but don’t know where to start, this could be the perfect place to begin. I will be running weekly classes running up to Christmas. Link in bio to book on
