As we continue to invest in and upgrade our hire fleet, a limited quantity of ex-hire Woodhouse temporary stabling will be available to purchase from 1 October 2026.

🟢3m x 3m temporary stables
Available in back-to-back blocks of 8, 16 or 20 stables, from £635 + VAT per stable. Back-to-back blocks only.

🟢3m stable fronts
Available individually at £150 + VAT each.

All stock will be inspected by the Woodhouse team prior to sale and is sold without warranty. Delivery and installation can be arranged separately and are not included in the purchase price.

Quantities are limited, with stock available on a first-come, first-served basis from 1 October 2026.

The final lengths of white picket fencing are going in at Defender Burghley Horse Trials, and after four weeks on site, the 2026 build is almost complete.

Burghley’s shopping avenues are a huge part of the event for visitors and exhibitors alike. This year, the Shopping Village has expanded again, with more than 200 metres of additional trade stand space creating room for an even broader range of equestrian, country, fashion and home brands.

Woodhouse has built nearly 1,300 metres of temporary trade stand structures for more than 400 exhibitors, laid over 7,700m² of flooring by hand and installed 200 metres of traditional white picket fencing throughout the trade areas.

Almost 100 temporary stables are ready for the horses competing in the CCI5*, one of the most demanding competitions in international eventing.

In total, the build has required more than 25,000 individual components and 250 tonnes of equipment.

Whether you’re competing, exhibiting, shopping or coming to watch the action, there are only eight days to wait. We couldn’t be more excited to see Burghley get underway next week 🎉

Frickley Park Horse Trials is underway 💚

Over the next four days, the Frickley Estate is hosting British Eventing Official competition from grassroots through to CCI-S 3* international classes. The UVEX Frickley Cup has grown to six long-format three-day classes this year, giving more grassroots riders the chance to experience a classic three-day event.

Woodhouse returned to Frickley and installed 150 temporary Barn Stables for the horses competing across the event. Once the installation was complete, the stables were treated with Equine Bio Genie disinfectant as part of the final preparation.

After months of preparation, The Pony Club Championships are here.

Over the past 15 days, Woodhouse’s yard, logistics and site teams have built a 600-temporary stable village at Offchurch Bury for nine days of Championship competition.

Congratulations to TJ, our Engineering Apprentice, on completing his Level 2 Fabrication and Welding Apprenticeship with distinction at Vision West Notts.

TJ is now moving on to Level 3. Alongside college, he is gaining hands-on experience in our engineering team and putting the skills he is learning into practice on real Woodhouse products and engineering improvements.

His dad Tony has been part of the Woodhouse yard team for 24 years, so it was a particularly special moment for father and son to celebrate together.

A huge achievement, TJ. Well done from everyone at Woodhouse 💚

🐴 We're counting down to Burghley!

For competitors, supporters and everyone with a ticket in the diary, it is a weekend that has been looked forward to all year. Four days of CCI5* competition, hours spent exploring the trade stands, and the atmosphere that makes Defender Burghley Horse Trials such a special date in the calendar.

Across the grounds, Woodhouse is building nearly 1,300m of trade stand structures for more than 400 exhibitors, alongside almost 100 temporary stables for the horses competing in the CCI5*. More than 25,000 components and over 250 tonnes of equipment are coming together for the build.

From Holland Cooper and Fairfax & Favor to Equine America and many more familiar names, the trade stands will soon be a big part of the experience visitors have been waiting for.

🐴 Later this week, Pony Club members from branches and centres across the country will head to the JCB Pony Club Championships.

For many young riders and their families, this is the high point of The Pony Club year: nine days of dressage, showjumping, eventing, mounted games, polocrosse and tetrathlon, and a chance to compete alongside friends and represent their branch or centre.

Woodhouse is in the final stages of installing 600 temporary stables at Offchurch Bury. The 15-day installation has taken 208 tonnes of equipment and will provide almost 7,800m² of covered accommodation for competitors’ ponies throughout the Championships.

The final stage is Equine Bio Genie disinfection treatment before the Championships begin.

It's just four weeks to go until Defender Burghley Horse Trials 🐎

For so many of you, Burghley is one of the highlights of the equestrian calendar. Four days of world-class sport, incredible shopping, fantastic food and the chance to spend time in the beautiful parkland of Burghley House. This year, the event also celebrates its 65th anniversary.

Behind the scenes, the transformation is already underway. The Woodhouse team is on site, installing more than 100 temporary stables, hundreds of metres of marquee structures and the Food Walk.

Standing here today, it's hard to believe that in just four weeks this parkland will be ready to welcome the world's best horses and riders, along with thousands of exhibitors and visitors.

We'll be sharing more behind-the-scenes updates over the coming weeks as Burghley takes shape.

The Game Fair finished just over a week ago, but work at Ragley Hall continued once the visitors had gone.

By Friday last week, our team was in the final stages of dismantling the Woodhouse structures and packing equipment ready to leave site. Completing a take-down of this scale in a matter of days takes planning, skill and a huge amount of hard work.

Ragley Hall’s historic parkland is central to The Game Fair. Working sustainably here means planning vehicle routes, the equipment taken on site and the take-down sequence well before the build begins, helping to minimise our impact on the ground.

Thank you to every member of the Woodhouse team, everyone who supported us throughout this year’s Game Fair, and the exhibitors and visitors who brought the site to life over the weekend.

🎾 Padel is one of the world’s fastest-growing sports, and next week the UK’s first tournament on the international Premier Padel Tour arrives at Olympia London.

Our Pop-Up Lockers have now been installed for London Premier Padel P1, where they’ll provide secure, lockable storage for equipment throughout the tournament.

While the players take centre stage, a huge amount of infrastructure is needed behind the scenes to help an event of this scale run smoothly, and it’s great to be playing a small part.

We can’t wait to see the action get underway at Olympia next week. 🎾
