Taking care of the sites we work on, extending the life of our products, reducing waste, planning efficiently, and continually looking for better ways of working are all important to the Woodhouse team as we continue to improve how we operate.

We’ve recently maintained our ISO 14001 and ISO 20121 certifications, continuing a commitment dating back 14 years to 2012.

These accreditations provide independent verification that environmental responsibility and sustainable event management are embedded in the way we work, from the decisions made behind the scenes to the way our teams operate on site.

The certificates are important, but it is the day-to-day actions, decisions and improvements made across Woodhouse that create real impact.

A huge thank you to everyone across Woodhouse who plays a part in this every day.

Just a few days remain until Defender Bramham Horse Trials returns to Bramham Park.

Before the horses, riders, exhibitors and visitors arrive, a huge amount of work takes place across the site to prepare for one of the most respected fixtures in the eventing calendar.

This year, our build includes over 160 barn stables with a dedicated veterinary clinic, as well as exhibitor and food hall spaces that will soon welcome visitors from across the country.

Alongside the build, every stable has also been treated with Equine Bio Genie disinfectant. It's a vital part of our stable preparation process and reflects the importance we place on horse health, welfare and clean stable environments.

Here's a look behind the scenes as Bramham prepares to welcome four days of world-class competition.

When we talk about temporary stabling, the conversation often focuses on what happens inside the stable. The design of the stable exterior is just as important.

In this short video, we take a look at some of the features built into our stables, including the four-metre roof height, vented gables and roof overhangs. Each one helps support airflow and create a healthier environment for the horses stabled in them.

If you attend equestrian events as a spectator, these are details you may never get to see, but they are a vital part of how we design our stables to support horse health, comfort and care.

Take a look behind the scenes.

Equine flu is understandably causing concern across the equestrian community, especially where horses are travelling, competing and stabling alongside others.

For anyone arriving at an event where Woodhouse temporary stables are in place, we want that stable environment to give reassurance.

Every stable is prepared before horses arrive, with cleaning, inspection and Equine Bio Genie disinfection forming part of our preparation process. The same approach applies across the events we support, whether horses are competing at the highest level or taking part in grassroots sport.

Good biosecurity cannot remove risk entirely, and veterinary guidance must always lead the medical response. But well-prepared stabling can help support horse welfare, responsible horse management and confidence for owners, riders, grooms and event organisers.

We’ve shared more on this in our latest article, including practical considerations for horses stabled away from home.

A barn stable full of beautiful Suffolk Punch horses at the Suffolk Show (Official). We couldn’t not film this.

Shows like this give people a rare chance to get properly up close to the animals, speak to breeders and learn more about the history, preservation and traditions behind some of Britain’s most iconic native breeds.

The Suffolk Punch horses in the Heavy Horse Centre have been drawing plenty of attention today, and if you’re heading to the Suffolk Show tomorrow, they are absolutely worth seeing up close.

It’s day one at the Suffolk Show (Official), and temperatures have already climbed beyond 30 degrees.

Features such as our extended roof overhangs are helping provide additional shade, while the roof design itself promotes airflow through the stable blocks to help maintain comfortable conditions for the horses and ponies stabled during the heat.

When horses are away at shows and events, stable design matters far more than many people might realise. Ventilation, airflow and shade all play an important role in helping horses to remain comfortable, settled and able to recover throughout the event.

The stables are positioned close to the show action at Suffolk this year, giving visitors a closer look at some of the welfare-focused design features built into the stable setup.

Fortunately, there’s also been a good breeze across the showground today, and it’s great to see the horses and ponies looking comfortable despite the temperatures.

Royal Windsor Horse Show 2026 may be over for another year, but looking back at the footage, the scale of what takes shape within the private grounds of Windsor Castle over just a matter of weeks is still incredible to see.

This year’s build included more than 450 temporary stables, over 740 metres of clearspan structures, 4,100m² of raised and levelled flooring and a fully equipped veterinary clinic, all supporting one of the most recognised events in the equestrian calendar.

For our team, Windsor is about far more than putting structures in place. Every area has to be prepared to the standards expected at the very highest level of the sport, for the horses on site, the exhibitors preparing for one of the busiest trading weeks of the year and the huge number of visitors attending across the event.

A huge thank you to every member of the Woodhouse team involved, both on-site and back at HQ, alongside the teams at Royal Windsor Horse Show and Equine Bio Genie, for their continued support and collaboration across the event.

Looking back through the footage, it’s the scale of the transformation and the amount of work behind it that stand out most 💚

Horse & Hound has featured the introduction of our veterinary suite across BEDE Events international fixtures.

Temporary stabling is only one part of the wider welfare environment at events. Veterinary provision, biosecurity and preparation standards all play an important role in supporting horses throughout competition.

The veterinary suite provides a dedicated space for examination, treatment, testing and isolation, while Equine Bio Genie disinfectant is also applied ahead of horse arrivals as part of the wider preparation process across the BEDE fixtures we support.

More attention is rightly being placed on the wider environments horses experience while away at events, and the role preparation and facilities play in supporting welfare throughout competition.

A new enhanced veterinary suite is to pop up at horse trials in 2026, designed with horse welfare and wellbeing in mind. Read more below

Preparations are well underway ahead of Wellington Riding School CSI 2026, which gets underway next week and will welcome international riders, young horses and teams from across the sport.

Our team has recently completed the installation of more than 270 temporary stables ahead of arrivals, along with additional single stables and a dedicated isolation stable block as part of the wider welfare and biosecurity planning for the event.

With horses arriving from multiple locations for several days of international competition, stable preparation plays an important role behind the scenes, including the application of Equine Bio Genie disinfectant as part of our preparation process.

The event will feature CSI1*, CSI2* and young horse classes, alongside the Longines Ranking Grand Prix.
