Wow! What a first half of the year it’s been…

There’s been some amazing highs but many challenges too! Our books are closed now for August as we are committed to delivering our existing bookings to the highest of standards as well as taking some time to stop for a second, take stock and come back in September with exciting developments and new offerings for you all.

Thank you to everyone who has supported and encouraged this journey of ours to date, our priority has always been and always will be to deliver not just the greatest events but also excellent service.

We care about what we do to the point that people may never realise, it keeps us awake at night and our main priority is that each and every client, no matter the size of the event is thrilled by what we provide.

To ensure this moving forward, we need to regroup and refresh for a moment.

We’ve been quiet. We know you’ve noticed and we’re busy writing our July Newsletter that will offer some explanation for it all (dm us your email address to be added to the mailing list)

In the mean time, we’d like to share with you the GORGEOUS set ups our team have delivered this weekend. It’s been busy, and by busy, we mean busier than a mosquito at a nudist beach busy 😂

An honourable shout out to the team of people who have worked long hours all weekend to bring our clients’ visions to life!

Encanto craft party for 20 children, staff led mermaid spa party at home for 5, outdoor festival set up for 40 adults and 10 children, a LOL spa party for 15, an outdoor boho wedding and table decor and personalised signage for a 30th 😅😬🙃 all bespoke, all with 1-1 consultations and all with the luxury touch.

Here comes the sunshine! Alfresco dining the way 🌞🥂

We were honoured to style this 40th Wedding Anniversary dinner for a family in Nottinghamshire. With the perfect garden to host in, we provided the table and chairs, table decor, crockery, cutlery and glassware for 35 people plus the light up 40 and balloon garland to compliment the theme 🌿🤍

INTRODUCING THE NEW LOLLIPOPS MANAGEMENT TEAM!

Between these three lovely ladies we have an absolute WEALTH of experience! A degree in events management, attention to detail on a different level, over a year of experience with lollipops already and most importantly a ‘CAN DO’ attitude and a PASSION for planning and delivering bespoke, one off events.

We have Mandy and T heading up the party host roles and they will most likely be the faces you’ll see leading the team of staff via walkie talkies at HQ or coming in our large tail lift van to set up your home party soirées!

And then we have Pav our stock and warehouse manager who works like dynamite every week to make sure all of the stock is prepared and pulled in advance ready for a hub of activity over the craziness of the weekends.

As you know, Lollipops was never set up to be a one woman business and I’m proud to have welcomed these ladies onto an ever growing team to help us to continue to be the best at what we do!

With myself, Maya, Mandy, T, Pav, Our Apprentice Jess and the army of dedicated, incredible staff who work our parties I’m excited for what the next six months will bring!!!

We do discos! 🕺🏻

Okay, we’ve been a bit quieter than usual on socials but we’re actually busier than ever 😅 like ever ever. Thankyou for your patience with email responses, dm replies, voicemail messages and some technical difficulties with our website at present (I’m not crying you are 😂)

We’re so happy and excited at the rate we are growing and are constantly reinvesting everything back into this business buying new stock and looking to bring new concepts to our loyal and returning customers - hence one of our new additions seen in these pictures… a parachute! Now available to add onto your party palace bookings.

This eight year old had a Harry Potter themed craft party for 20 friends. Complete with Harry Potter cut outs, Hedwig cushions, parachute games, disco dancing, high dining tables themed and styled for food and candy floss to finish.

Months of planning went into this mermaid extravaganza. Multiple design meetings with both mum and dad and no detail spared to make this day truly magical for Maisie’s 6th Birthday.

It was an honour and a privilege to be allowed to arrange the sassiest and classiest hen party for in the lead up to her wedding and we’re so happy to say that after eight months of meticulous planning, judging by these photos, we pulled it off!! 🥂

We knew that wanted her hen in the Cotswolds and we cannot recommend enough. Fabulous location and the gardens just topped it off 🥇

With a lot to cram in, we designed the full itinerary sourcing all suppliers and began the weekend with gin tasting and making with followed by lunch served by Charlie and the team at

Evening entertainment for Friday was provided by our firm favourite and with a copious side helping of champagne! 😬🥂

Saturday saw the wonderful girls from come all the way from Nottingham and worked their makeup wands to perform magic on all of the guests with hair and makeup ready for a night of fine dining and a carefully curated tasting menu personalised for the occasion by the food was *chefs kiss* 👌

We were able to design Personalised goody bags for each guests provided by and ensured every guests had pj’s and hangover kits! 😵‍💫

And finally to ensure that the weekend was a full sensory experience, we scented all of the barns we rented with gorgeous candles all weekend from

Change. It’s scary. It’s hard…but it’s a necessity that keeps this rollercoaster of life moving forwards.

When I started back in September 2020, it was out of the need to save myself from a dark place. Lollipops gave me a reason , it brightened up my day, it gave me a distraction to focus on to disguise the noise in my head and the worries in my heart.

I have had the privilege to work alongside some extraordinary people and most importantly it’s allowed me the privilege to make so many new and fantastic friendships. For those who don’t know, lollipops has been my side hustle, I still have a full time job and I still juggle the two 😅

Last week though, I found myself back in hospital. My health has taken a turn for the worse and something has to give. I need to learn to slow down, and physically I now have a lot of limitations. As much as it pains me, I need to step back…and watch with pride from the sidelines as the incredible team and take lollipops forward.

People have come and gone, but every single person has played a part in creating something magical in such a short space of time. How I have laughed, and cried with people from all walks of life, from colleagues to clients…it’s made me a better person without a doubt.

This isn’t a goodbye by any means 🤣 just an admission that I need to prioritise how I’m spending my time and allow others to fulfil their true potential so that I can put my health first!

was born out of my need to create something that allowed others to realise their potential, to allow people to find their way out of their own darkness and to help others…so it’s over to the team, to take on this legacy and to create new opportunities (have you seen that we’re hiring 👀👀) for new people who are ready to find their passion and an escape.

So “here’s to nights that we won’t remember and the friends we never forgot”

Lollipop Luxury Parties is the creation of successful entrepreneur and mum of one, Nicola Millward. Since the birth of her beautiful daughter, Alana, six years ago, Nicola has strived to give her more and more elaborate parties which matched a theme to suit Alana’s interests. The business is a personal one and based around providing her daughter with the perfect birthday experience, Lollipop is Alana’s nickname, so this is a great fit! Both ladies love to party and enjoy the perfectly staged theme to make the day extra special. Detail is key and this is where Nicola and the Lollipop team truly shine (and sparkle!). How it works A range of products and equipment have been specially designed from years of party planning experience and understanding of what children want and enjoy with their friends to complement your theme and suit all budgets. The Lollipop team set the party stage for you – providing everything needed for your little stars to enjoy their party – then they’ll come back the next day to tidy up. All you need to do is book us, then relax and enjoy the party (or leave them to it!). All of our parties remain COVID-19 safe through the below options: • One of the Lollipop team stages your party in your room of choice – alone and wearing appropriate PPE. Set up times are listed within each theme • We can drop off all the themed accessories at your door with step by step instructions on how to set them up.
