Not every week is about shows — sometimes it’s about making sure the shows can happen in the first place. 🎭🔧

This past week, we’ve been spending time in a local community theatre carrying out equipment maintenance, a full re-rig, and electrical safety testing to make sure their equipment is safe, reliable and ready for whatever comes next.

Because at College Street, it’s not just about what happens when the curtain goes up. It’s everything behind the scenes that makes a show happen — right from the very basics.

We’re proud to support our local theatres and community organisations, helping keep their spaces safe, functional and ready for the next performance.

We’ve been busy over at Squire Performing Arts Centre, Nottingham this week, supporting Spotlight Theatre with their production of Rent.

The show opened last night and it’s looking absolutely wicked!

We’ve been supplying lighting, set, lighting design and technical support to help bring the production to life — and it’s fantastic to see all that work come together on stage.

Huge congratulations to everyone involved, and we hope the rest of the run goes brilliantly! 👏

The RIAT that wasn’t… ✈️🎪

Despite no flying displays, it was an incredible week at Fairford Air Show Camping — packed with live music, DJs, and unforgettable big screen moments.

Huge thanks to College Street Technical Services CIC for powering it all behind the scenes with top-tier lighting, sound and AV. They’ll be back next year, making Wednesday’s MOVIE 🎥 NIGHT sound like the cinema & really enhancing the band & DJ.

Proof that it’s not just what’s in the sky — it’s what happens on the ground that makes it special.

The RIAT that wasn’t… ✈️🎶⚽

Another busy night for us at Fairford Air Show Camping!

We’re looking after sound for a live band this evening, keeping everything running smoothly — before switching gears later on to provide technical support for the football.

Yesterday saw a reggae DJ take to the stage, with us supplying lighting and sound to keep the vibes going into the evening!

Great atmosphere, great crowd, and a brilliant mix of live music and live sport.

The RIAT that wasn’t… ✈️⚽

The first event of the week is underway at Fairford Air Show Camping!

We’re proud to be supplying PA and lighting for the event, helping create the atmosphere as visitors come together to enjoy a packed programme of entertainment — starting with the World Cup Semi Final screening.

A great crowd, a big game, and the perfect way to kick off the week.

It’s been a very busy few weeks for us — and things aren’t slowing down any time soon!

We’ve continued to stay packed with shows, hires and projects, proudly supporting our local community and live events sector every step of the way.

Tonight, we’re at Nottingham Arts Theatre supporting LuvEntertainment’s Lata & Asha — looking forward to another great show!

Plenty going on, and plenty more to come.

We’ve loved supporting The Wizard of Oz recently 🌈🎭

From helping bring the production to life on stage to sending out plenty of lighting and sound hires, it’s been great to be part of such a fun and vibrant show.

Supporting productions like this — especially with so much young talent involved — is exactly what we’re all about!

It’s been all go lately — with a huge mix of projects keeping us busy 🎭

We’ve been working across everything from Centrestage MK, Motus Jump Start, and Newsies Jr, to supporting local schools, dance companies, and a community theatre production of The Girl on the Train.

On top of that, we’ve supported 20+ touring productions and had hires going out left, right and centre — a real variety of work, and exactly what we love being part of.

As a CIC, it’s great to be involved at every level — from grassroots and education through to touring shows — helping bring live events to life across the community.

It’s been a very busy couple of weeks — and we’ve loved every minute of it 🎭✨

From designing and delivering lighting and sound for Sweeney Todd, to supplying kit and support for Oh What a Lovely War, it’s been full-on in the best way. We’ve also supported NU Dance, delivered a live band cinema performance of Wallace and Gromit, and sent kit out to Newsies in Milton Keynes.

As a CIC, it’s especially rewarding to support a wide range of productions, performers and organisations, helping bring live events to life across our communities.

A day late, but still worth saying — happy World Theatre Day to everyone making live performance happen 🎭

A brilliant mix of shows, great people, and plenty of tech doing its thing — exactly what we’re here for.
