We’ve been busy bees… and things are only getting busier!

With over 90 events, hires and projects lined up for November, and around the same again in December, we’re heading into a seriously busy end to the year — and we can’t wait!

There’s certainly no slowing down this week either! Tonight we’re working with the brilliant Ignacio Lopez, tomorrow we’ll be sending hires out the door all day, Tuesday is all about lighting programming, and from Wednesday right through to Sunday we’re back on shows while keeping the hires coming and going!

It’s a fantastic mix of shows, technical projects and equipment hires, all helping bring live events to life and support the organisations and communities we work with.

Planning your next event? Whether it’s lighting, sound, AV, staging or technical support, we’d love to help make it a success.

Our school hire packages have had a refresh! 🎭

Gone are the hot, power-hungry tungsten source lights — and in are our fresh new LED units!

You get the same great light output and the same simple, easy-to-use setup, but with a fraction of the energy consumption. They’re also cold to the touch, meaning no more hot fixtures and no more lamp replacements!

They’re a great option for schools looking to get students hands-on with lighting projects, giving them the chance to learn, experiment and get creative with professional equipment.

And, just like before, all our packages are scalable — need more lights for a bigger production? No problem, we can add to your package as your project grows.

Better for the environment, better for your energy bills, and better for getting the next generation involved in live events. 🌱🎭

Not every week is about shows — sometimes it’s about making sure the shows can happen in the first place. 🎭🔧

This past week, we’ve been spending time in a local community theatre carrying out equipment maintenance, a full re-rig, and electrical safety testing to make sure their equipment is safe, reliable and ready for whatever comes next.

Because at College Street, it’s not just about what happens when the curtain goes up. It’s everything behind the scenes that makes a show happen — right from the very basics.

We’re proud to support our local theatres and community organisations, helping keep their spaces safe, functional and ready for the next performance.

We’ve been busy over at Squire Performing Arts Centre, Nottingham this week, supporting Spotlight Theatre with their production of Rent.

The show opened last night and it’s looking absolutely wicked!

We’ve been supplying lighting, set, lighting design and technical support to help bring the production to life — and it’s fantastic to see all that work come together on stage.

Huge congratulations to everyone involved, and we hope the rest of the run goes brilliantly! 👏

We had a FABULOUS time at Fairfordairshowcamping! We’ll see you all next time! 🎭✈️🎸

The RIAT that wasn’t… ✈️🎪

Despite no flying displays, it was an incredible week at Fairford Air Show Camping — packed with live music, DJs, and unforgettable big screen moments.

Huge thanks to College Street Technical Services CIC for powering it all behind the scenes with top-tier lighting, sound and AV. They’ll be back next year, making Wednesday’s MOVIE 🎥 NIGHT sound like the cinema & really enhancing the band & DJ.

Proof that it’s not just what’s in the sky — it’s what happens on the ground that makes it special.

If you are planning an event & need audio or lights, we can’t recommend them enough 🔊

The RIAT that wasn’t… ✈️🎶⚽

Another busy night for us at Fairford Air Show Camping!

We’re looking after sound for a live band this evening, keeping everything running smoothly — before switching gears later on to provide technical support for the football.

Yesterday saw a reggae DJ take to the stage, with us supplying lighting and sound to keep the vibes going into the evening!

Great atmosphere, great crowd, and a brilliant mix of live music and live sport.

The RIAT that wasn’t… ✈️⚽

The first event of the week is underway at Fairford Air Show Camping!

We’re proud to be supplying PA and lighting for the event, helping create the atmosphere as visitors come together to enjoy a packed programme of entertainment — starting with the World Cup Semi Final screening.

A great crowd, a big game, and the perfect way to kick off the week.

Keep an eye out for more from “The RIAT that wasn’t” as we share what we’ve been up to behind the scenes.

It’s been a very busy few weeks for us — and things aren’t slowing down any time soon!

We’ve continued to stay packed with shows, hires and projects, proudly supporting our local community and live events sector every step of the way.

Tonight, we’re at Nottingham Arts Theatre supporting LuvEntertainment’s Lata & Asha — looking forward to another great show!

Plenty going on, and plenty more to come.

We’ve loved supporting The Wizard of Oz recently 🌈🎭

From helping bring the production to life on stage to sending out plenty of lighting and sound hires, it’s been great to be part of such a fun and vibrant show.

Supporting productions like this — especially with so much young talent involved — is exactly what we’re all about!

It’s been all go lately — with a huge mix of projects keeping us busy 🎭

We’ve been working across everything from Centrestage MK, Motus Jump Start, and Newsies Jr, to supporting local schools, dance companies, and a community theatre production of The Girl on the Train.

On top of that, we’ve supported 20+ touring productions and had hires going out left, right and centre — a real variety of work, and exactly what we love being part of.

As a CIC, it’s great to be involved at every level — from grassroots and education through to touring shows — helping bring live events to life across the community.
