They are playing a reworking of our song ‘Cold Silence’. Recorded at Soundwave Recording Studio with Paul Pk King. Scheduled for release to streaming platforms on October 1st.

The response to the new studio has been amazing since we opened, and it’s been so busy with both returning and new clients. Just wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone who’s been through the doors so far, and for all the kind words about the new space.

The house kit here at Soundwave.
Gretsch Renown Maple shells with a mix of Zildjian K’s and Constantinople cymbals, plus a few extras tucked away in the cupboard.

It’s always tuned and ready to go, and clients are more than welcome to use it for their sessions.

Cracking day in the studio with laying down drums and bass!
Drums are sounding huge and the bass is locking in nicely too. Can’t wait for the next session to get some guitars and vocals on top.

Shoutout to for building this absolute beauty for the control room!

These guys are based in Birmingham and make incredible desks for studios, producers, mastering engineers and more. From start to finish, Lee was brilliant to work with. Proper attention to detail and amazing build quality.

Highly recommend them if you’re after a new studio desk. Couldn’t be happier with how this turned out!

This thing kicks ass on a parralel drum bus, also sits adding some serious punch and warmth to the mix bus.
This actual one has actually been on a world tour with UB40 before I purchased it 🍷
