Wedding celebrant
I thought it was about time I shouted about being a wedding celebrant…. So here goes..
I’ve been conducting celebrant led wedding ceremonies since training September 2019…. I’ve been wedding planning for many (many) years and acting as Master of ceremonies so becoming a celebrant was the next step I suppose. And I love it!
I’ve done ceremonies with 15 guests during Covid complete with pretty masks; one with a naming ceremony in the middle, several in hotels, one at a racecourse and one on the banks on Loch Lomond! (Well inside but you could see the loch). Last weekend was in the most beautiful garden of a private house.
Due to stepping back a little with my day job, I have some additional availability for weddings this year, next year and beyond!
Not everyone wishes for a church or registry office ceremony…
A celebrant led ceremony
offers you flexibility to say personal words, have whatever music you like, readings of all sorts and lots more..
You can have hand fastening, unity sand or candle or a Scottish Quaich ceremony.
Whatever content you want…. You can write your own vows or I’ll work with you to make them perfect for
you both and have the ceremony you’ve always dreamed of.
I can do short and efficient , romantic with a warm sense of family to lighthearted and fun… themed or traditional…
There’s no restriction to where you can hold your ceremony (but I’m not keen in heights). You can choose to hold in your garden, a muddy field, on the beach, a country park, at a hotel, on a golf course or even a caravan park ! … wherever you wish (obvs. with permission)
For the legal bit… you contact the councils registrars and arrange the legal registration with two witnesses for around £60!
I also offer ‘on the day’ wedding coordinating to take the strain on the day…
Or full wedding planning and management from booking to the end of your perfect day…
Oh and I can cater for you to… buffets, grazing, picnics and dessert tables.
