I’m addicted to the small stuff.

The little happenings, the in-between looks, the moments nobody’s posing for.

I want every photo to hold onto exactly how it felt, so when you look back years from now, it all comes flooding back - not just what it looked like, but what it felt like.

And if your face hurts from smiling looking back through them? Job done. Or you’ve just been staring at your own wedding photos for way too long. Either way, I’ll take it.

Let’s settle this one!

First dance: fully choreographed showstopper, or one where you’re planning on dragging everyone else up within the first minute?

Genuinely can’t decide which one I love shooting more - the confidence of a routine, or the chaos of two people winging it in front of everyone they know.

This is one of the most common worries I hear from couples, and one of my favourite things to prove wrong.

No forced poses, no hovering with a camera in your face. I just slot in, catch what’s actually happening, and let you forget I’m even there.

Happy Valley doesn’t really do “quiet corner of a barn.“

It does converted barns with proper character!

I’ve shot here a few times now and it’s genuinely one of my favourites - the kind of venue that
photographs beautifully all on its own, so I get to just focus on the people rather than fighting the
space.

If you’re viewing venues and want somewhere that looks as good by day as it does once the
dancing starts, this one’s worth a look!

Weddings are chaos, dressed up nicely and given a schedule… and somehow it always works out.

It’s the hugs, the kisses, the high fives, the “I do’s”, the tears, the laughter, the tears of laughter, the chest bumps, the fist pumps, and yes, someone’s Grandma finding her spicy dance moves by 10pm.

Nobody planned for that bit. It’s always the best bit.

The timings shift, someone goes missing for twenty minutes, the weather can’t make its mind up, and by the end of the day none of it matters. The important stuff happens anyway, usually while everyone’s looking somewhere else.

That’s what I’m there for!

2027 bookings are open - and if you’re newly engaged and starting to think about photographers, here’s a bit about how I work.

Fun, vibrant wedding photography for people who like each other, lots!

No standing around for hours doing group photos. No stiff poses or awkward direction. Just your day, captured as it actually happens - the smiles, the laughter, the emotion, the bad dancing, the moments you didn’t even know were happening.

300+ weddings in and I still love this job. If you’re not about perfection wrapped up in a big white bow but about the two of you having the best day with everyone you love, let’s talk.
