Not my words, but absolutely love this , for the Mums, Dads and all who make Christmas so magical ๐ช๐๐

โ๏ธBy December 25, he/she will be exhausted. He/She will have spent his/her days decorating, drinking tea and planning holiday activities.
He/Her eyes will hurt from all the online ordering and scrolling for creative ways to move the "elf".
He/She will have ran countless errands.. driving around in a daze, wondering if he/she forgot anything.
He/She will have hopped from store to store...picking up everything from cookies and sprinkles..to scotch tape..to the last minute gift he/she knows her child will love.
โ๏ธHe/She will have spent his/her nights lying awake in bed (with a hint of frosting on his/her shirt from decorating cookies) wondering if he/she's done enough to make the holidays magical and unforgettable. Were all the holiday movies watched?? Is everything wrapped? Did they taste hot chocolate yet?? The kind with the tiny marshmallows? Or should we make our own homemade hot chocolate?? Gotta grab milk for the milk and cookies.
Are the letters to Santa written?? We should have gone caroling. Did I move the elf?
Did I turn on the Christmas lights??
โ๏ธHe/She will close his/her eyes on Christmas Eve, only to open them once more, just to tip-toe around the house.
He/She will give everything one final glance....and take it all in.
The kids warm in their beds..the twinkling tree...and the once empty stockings, now full of surprises.
He/She will head back to bed, and still wonder if he/she's done enough.
โ๏ธBut little does he/she know,
His/her magic was everywhere.
In the decorations, the cookies..the hot chocolate. In every memory of Christmas, lies a fathers/mothers' heart.
