What an amazing day for a woodland wedding.

The day was centred in the grounds of Thetford forest Forest Lodge Weddings / Merry-Mare Catering and Events - set in a unique area within the trees, the couple made it incredibly bespoke to them with their personalities shining through.

It was an incredible day surround by their friends and family- we had the best time.

I just wanted to say a massive thank you to every couple who has put their trust in me this year and allowed me and Ali to be part of your day. I feel incredibly humble and grateful.

Trying to grow a small business is incredibly difficult — the blood, sweat and tears, spending hours and hours building a brand, whether it’s website building, marketing, editing, promoting, speaking, etc. Everything has been built by me as I chase my dream of becoming a full-time photographer.

So after all the dead ends, the ghosting, losing enquiries to someone undercutting significantly… to receive all these 5-star reviews just nudges me ten steps forward. It proves to me that all that hard work isn’t for nothing, that there’s a future here, and so many more weddings to capture!

As we go into the winter break I will be looking for anyone wanting a winter wedding as well as lots of amazing couples in 2027/2028

A different one for the feed, I was asked to capture some marketing photos for Alison at her beautiful boutique in Harleston for her seasonal autumn range.

A Boutique is an amazing boutique located on the thoroughfare Harleston with homeware, women’s clothing, jewellery and accessories- and have to say they are bloody beautiful! As you’ll see in the photos!

So if you’re using photos that are over 2 years old off your phone to promote your business, you’d could probably do with a refresh so please don’t heatitate to reach out here or my commercial arm Aaron C as I’m I can absolutely help!

Something a bit different for the feed, I had the pleaseure of capturing some autumn shots for A Boutique in Harleston - located on the thoroughfare.

Ali wanted photos of the store which was bathed in Autumn sunshine, the light really did make the difference to these shots,

Genuinely one of the most inspirational couples we’ve had the privilege to shoot. The kind of day where you forget you’re working because you’re too busy grinning or crying behind the camera.

As a photographer there’s usually emotions but at the wedding there was a lot of moments where you think to yourself… life is exactly this, being surrounded by the people that want you to win, support you and drive you.. I love a wedding!

Well… you know… this Google review!

I had an idea for a long time that I wanted to become a photographer but could never trust this idea. I think having ADHD as some of you know ideas come and go as quickly as minutes pass by… and your mind shifts from thing to thing…

I have always tinkered but this idea kept coming back, I’d buy a camera, sell it then buy another… the cycle repeated many times and don’t get me wrong I took some cracking pictures each and every time but life moved on, changed and could never quite make the next step in getting this going..

But with some simple encouragement from Ali, I took a leap and photographed 2 couples

Rosie Wiley and Shane

Each of these couples started the journey to where we now are and a massive thank you to all of you.

So we’re now 2026 and this year has been all but amazing! We’ve attended a fair few weddings had and some incredible commercial photography gigs.. and each and every time I’ve got 5 star reviews - which blows my mind.

But this review from Lee and Jessica in itself has blown me off my feet..

I don’t get emotional much as many of those around me will tell you! but this has really hit me deep and really does fill me with confidence then I’m on the right path.

It just cements that I should ignore my imposter syndrome I have the right skills, I have the tenacity and confidence in myself to make this dream come true.

I just want to say thank you to every one, every single couple that has had us photographer your wedding, booked for next year or currently enquiring… just the fact you believe in magpie, chosen magpie and but their trust in us means the absolute world!

I’m absolutely blown away…

Who doesn’t love a boogie right! I love a dance floor shot and I’m partial to having a sneaky dance! My job isn’t to stand on the sideline but to get involved in the fun as that’s where the best shots are! I can’t wait to show you Ellie and Matt’s wedding photos.
