John and Josh have been out riding the full 100-mile Tour de Broads route for our final checks ahead of Sunday, and we’re pleased to say the route is looking great! 🙌

If you haven’t entered yet, there’s still time. Entries close this Thursday at 6pm, so don’t leave it too late.

And while you’re getting ready for the big day, you can also pre-order your 2026/2027 Tour de Broads jersey, produced with Tweede Adem, through our website.

Tour de Broads returns THIS SUNDAY and we’re into the final countdown. 🙌

The routes are ready, the medals are waiting and we can’t wait to welcome hundreds of riders back to the Broads for another huge day on the bike.

🏅 TOUR DE BROADS MEDAL REVEAL 🏅

Here it is, the 2026 Tour de Broads finisher’s medal!

Created with our event partner Lathams of Potter Heigham, the design celebrates cycling through the heart of the Norfolk Broads. Whichever distance you take on, this will be waiting for you at the finish line as a reward for every mile.

🏁 The 2026 GYCC Speed League is complete!

Round 6 delivered a fitting finale, with 25 riders participating, producing 20 PBs and 10 new average speed levels. Mark Richards set a new men’s course record at 28.63mph, while Abi Bremner raised the women’s record to 21.83mph.

Seven riders entered the final round still capable of winning the overall title. The overall victory was decided by just eight points, while the Men’s Club, Men’s Novice and Women’s Club titles all went to countback.

🏆 FIVE RIDERS. ONE TITLE. ONE FINAL ROUND.

The 2026 Speed League title will be decided tomorrow night, and the dropped-score system means the standings are far from settled.

With only each rider’s best five scores from six rounds counting, Mark Richards leads the way, but Liam Walpole has the highest possible finishing total, Adam Glover remains firmly in contention, Gavin Stock needs a big final round and Stephen Brown still has an outside chance.

The projected scores and likely outcomes shown are estimates based on performances across the previous rounds, rider scoring averages and the result currently set to be dropped. They’re not guaranteed, and one PB or average-speed level achievement could change everything on the night!

🏁 THE FINAL ROUND IS HERE! 🏁

Five rounds down. One final night remains to decide the 2026 Speed League.

Round 5 was our biggest yet, with 33 riders taking part, 10 new female riders joining the league, a new female course record and plenty of brilliant PB performances across the field.

Congratulations to our Round 5 winners:

⚡ TT: Abi Bremmer & Mark Richards
⚡ Club: Kerstin Schankat & Ollie Jones
⚡ Novice: Rachel Finch & Liam Walpole

With only each rider’s best five scores from the six rounds counting, the dropped-score system means seven riders are still mathematically capable of winning the overall league, with five emerging as the most realistic title contenders.

Everything now comes down to the final round this Thursday at Herringfleet!
