Gorgeous velvet pumpkins in plush autumn colours. These are handmade with painted resin stalks. Very good quality. Very tactile. They are new stock left over from my shop. Selling at £8 each which is less than half price.

It’s my last week trading in the shop this week. No flowers I’m afraid but lots of lovely gifts at 50% off. Open Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday 10am to 3pm.

The Wild Daisy is closing down and I am so sad about that.
The shop has been a huge success and as I have said many times, I am so grateful to everyone who came and showed their love and support.

The shop is closing because my health hasn’t been great in recent months. As some of you will know, I have rheumatoid arthritis -a lifelong condition which, among other things, can lead sufferers struggling to fight infection. Over Christmas, I had flu and with further complications, I was briefly hospitalised.

This prompted a rather rapid re-assessment of what’s important in life and although I have absolutely loved opening and running The Wild Daisy, I decided it was time to concentrate on improving my health and spending a bit more time with the family.

Happily I am now on the mend and the closing down sale starts at 10am on Tuesday 13th January with all gifts and cards at 40% off. Sadly I won’t be stocking any fresh flowers until my doors close for good next month.

The Wild Daisy is available for sale as an ongoing concern and any interested parties can obtain more details by emailing [email protected]

I am a little unsure about opening times for the rest of the month, so please bear with me.
It’s possible I may have to close early some days. A further announcement about opening times will follow soon.

After 11 days in bed I’m finally turning a corner and feeling a bit better 👏. Thank you everyone for your kind get well wishes.
Massive thanks to Mike, Hannah & Harry who have cared for me extraordinarily well & friends who have dropped off food etc. I really do appreciate it.
It wasn’t quite the ‘festive break’ I was hoping for but onwards & upwards into a brand new year! Janette x

The Wild Daisy will be closed until further notice...
Janette has had a nasty bout of flu over the holiday period and needs to take a while to fully recover.
