Meet Steve. He's funny.

Steve has written more than 80 episodes of BBC television, including EastEnders, Casualty and Doctors.

Steve has produced over fifty new shows and has written for the likes of Jo Brand, Siobhan McSweeney, Olivia Coleman and Kelsey Grammar as well as working with the National Theatre. Not only that but Steve won the Grand Trophy at the New York Radio Festival 2025. He’s also good at maths.

Now Steve brings all that experience to The Garage to teach you how comedy actually works: finding the funny, sharpening your ideas and turning them into comedy that lands. Come and learn from someone who’s actually made people laugh, at least twice, last time he counted.
