πŸ’‘ Wednesday Wisdom Roundup | The honest truth about running events in Norfolk
We asked five of our Wednesday Wisdom contributors about the biggest challenges they've faced and here's what they told us:

πŸ›οΈ Haze Carver, Norfolk Chambers of Commerce - Getting the right people to attend, finding sponsorship, standing out in a busy calendar, and keeping momentum going afterwards. Sound familiar?
🏰 Gemma Hyde, Castle Quarter - Running free community events means delivering a high-quality, inclusive experience without any barriers β€” and that balance isn't always easy to strike.
🍽️ Alex Clare, Norfolk's Edge - Catering & Events - Nothing derails an event faster than things slipping through the cracks on the day. Preparation, the right team, and a fully equipped brief is what stops that happening.
πŸ“± Lyndsay Voong, Norfolk Social - The biggest mistake? Thinking promotion stops when the event starts. One or two photos afterwards isn't enough. You need a proper bank of content from every single event.
🀝 Pete Marron, Break charity - Never stop listening. Every event needs to feel fresh, so constantly adapting, evaluating impact and evolving ideas is what keeps things relevant.

Whether you're running your first event or your fiftieth, these challenges are universal - and the solutions are closer than you think πŸ’‘
