If you have a few pennies to spare, please, please, please consider donating to this very worthwhile cause. My good friend Anna has had an awful accident and we are coming together to try and raise some money to help her keep a roof over the family home whilst she undergoes surgery and a long recovery period. Any help you can provide will be so gratefully received, even if that's just sharing this fundraiser far and wide. Whatever you can do to help us with this mission, we are immensely grateful...

This week I had the privilege of conducting an ashes interment ceremony for a wonderful family who were saying goodbye to their loved one. I conducted the main funeral a couple of weeks ago but the interment service was a little less formal and a chance for the children in the family to get involved. It was a lovely send-off and the children were all incredible, despite the 30° heat and lack of shade at the cemetery! It's always an honour to help a family say farewell to their loved one, but receiving gorgeous gifts like this and knowing I've made a difference never fails to bring a tear to my eye. ❤️

This beautiful bunch of roses was given to me yesterday by a lovely family for whom I recently conducted a funeral service. Losing a loved one at any time of year is heartbreaking, but it feels especially poignant at this time of year ...and I am blown away by the kindness and generosity shown by the family whilst they are in the depths of grief. I don't often ask my clients for reviews after a funeral as it feels a bit intrusive and not always appropriate....but receiving feedback like this is just wonderful! ❤️🙏🏻 Love my job so much!

Slightly belated but Happy New Year and a huge thank you to everyone who has supported my celebrancy business this year. I'm very very lucky to do this job that I love so much and am super grateful to all the families, couples, funeral directors, grief experts and wedding suppliers who have engaged my services this year. Lots of exciting stuff planned for 2026...watch this space!
