At the end of January we moved into our new house, where we are now is still around the same area but we have no footfall and live in the middle of nowhere pretty much!

I am still open for orders, the same bakes that I did in the bake shed are still available and much more!

Shame I have to even post something like this but… let’s put the silly rumours to bed.

When I started my cake shed it was for some fun, alongside a cake a catering business I have ran for nearly 7 years!

There is another lovely cake shed in a nearby village which we both agreed to not post in each others village pages, which i stuck too but it came to light the other didn’t, which I wasn’t privy too as I had been either stopped or blocked from seeing the posts and was informed by someone in my village.

Also I had the council send me a letter saying that I had been “reported for trading with no health inspection”.

I had already emailed and arranged a date with a lovely inspector and got my 5 stars 🌟

When she came I asked her outright if I had been reported by someone and she confirmed with me that it was in fact the other cake shed in the neighbouring village, again I didn’t say anything or react just carried on as normal.

Since I have started when asked if I had availability and I was on holiday or was booked I have always sent people in the direction to other small businesses such as the jasmin cakery, Lucy’s bakes and any other amazing cake makers out there, so I won’t have people write a false narrative before having the facts.

I like to see others do well and succeed but not when you decide to create a false impression to make yourself look better.

Shame it’s had to come to this but I feel I should let people know the actual truth before my credibility is questioned, never in 7 years have I had this issue and hope this is the end.

On a brighter note Christmas is less than 2 weeks away, I’m pretty much fully booked but happy to be asked if I can fit anything in!
