We’re lucky enough among our members award winning painters that are always keen to offer friendly advice. We’re an active club and have demoed for many various War games

companies like Mantic, Warlord and Devil Pig Games. We hold our own annual show each year at the forum called Diceni and have held many gaming events and tournaments, some of which have attracted over 50 players from across Europe. We like to support our local heritage and community and have held a games day at Norwich castle and raised money for local charities. We also like to partake in club member events from large old west games to future wars while supplying huge amounts of pizza to all our members. We enjoy traveling to various shows and also enjoy meeting up for a meal and a beer. If you think Aftermath sounds like the kind of club you’d like to join, please contact us via our website or send a PM from this page. We look forward to hearing from you.

Wow! What a day and an incredible way to celebrate our 10th show. I was so tired I couldn’t post my usual after show message.

Another amazing show, every year Diceni gets better and busier. But none of this is possible without the support of you. We really do thank everyone who attends and supports Diceni.

Thank you to the Black Dragon Miniature Painters and Aftermath Gaming Club Norwich for hosting two great events. You’re hard work in organising, setting up and making sure the day runs smoothly is hugely appreciated.

The painting competition was phenomenal and it was a real honour to see all the amazing work from talented artists across the UK.

Last but not least my sincere gratitude to the Diceni committee for all year round hard work in planning and working incredibly hard on the day.

We managed to raise £960 for this year’s charity Evermore Dog Rescue, an incredible amount so well done Claire at the show table and organising the raffle and show dice.

Enjoy the rest of your bank holiday and please do post up and picture or comments of your time at the show. We love to see them.

The narrative for this tournament brings your Silver Bayonet unit to the windswept coastline of Norfolk.

The scenarios are set within a ‘what if’ alternative history. What if the spies of the Harvestmen had been able to find a time and a place to alter the course of history? Through clever planning and dark deeds could they neutralize the threat posed by Admiral Nelson, the greatest naval hero of the age and subsequently help Napoleon to victory?

Nelson is due to attend a top-secret meeting of nations at an undisclosed location on the North Norfolk coast. This is the first and vital attempt to collaborate with other nations in the fight against the Harvestmen.

The war against the Harvestmen takes precedent over the affairs of nations and the delegation from France (in particular) is eagerly awaited. Because of this meeting, many of the attending nations have covertly sent their best units to the area. Many strange looking, foreign soldiers have quietly taken up lodgings in outlying taverns and remote farmhouses. Nelson is the last to arrive for the meeting, he has been delayed by stormy conditions in the English Channel but is expected any day now.

Nothing to do but wait! ……. the quiet is broken however with the arrival of a messenger at your unit’s lodgings.

Happy new year Aftermathers and friends!
