Friday night took me back to Anna & Billy’s home again, where I had the pleasure of cooking for several very special occasions all rolled into one evening — 25 years of marriage, an 18th birthday, a 21st birthday and an engagement! 🥂🎂💍❤️

It was amazing to see you all again and to be part of such a special celebration.

When you don’t pay a small business

What happens to a small business when someone simply chooses not to pay the bill?

We have Terms & Conditions for a reason. When you make a booking, those terms are there to protect both the client and the business.

You cancelled your dinner party with insufficient notice, leaving me with an evening that I was unable to fill with another client. I have contacted you by email, but you have chosen to ignore my messages and, to date, payment still hasn’t been received.

You have now returned to your own business abroad, seemingly without any concern for the small business you have left out of pocket.

Behind every small business is a person who has worked hard to build it. We don’t have the luxury of simply absorbing unpaid bills and lost bookings.

I sincerely hope that one day you understand how it feels when someone treats your business and your hard work with the same lack of respect.

Terms & Conditions are there for a reason — please respect small businesses and the people behind them.
