This is a post about posts... Goalposts!
The District Councillor and The Hevingivers have clubbed together to pay for new goalposts for the village hall grounds and they should be up by the end of today!!
The Parish Council has agreed to maintain the line markings as well, so a proper match or just a kick about, the pitch will be ready for you to use.

COMING TUESDAY 29th April from 7:00pm

Want to learn indoor short-mat bowls?

The Hevingham Bowls club are having a try-out session on 29th April 2025 at the Hevingham Village Hall for anyone 15 years old and upwards who would like to experience the game with no obligation. You don’t need to bring anything except yourself and a clean pair of trainers (to look after the mat); they will supply the equipment and the tuition. No need to book, you can just turn up. The session starts at 7:00pm

At half time there will be tea and biscuits and a chance to ask questions, like how much it would be to join and become a regular member, how to join the competitive team, how often do you play, how long is a competitive season, etc.

Bowls is a game that brings together people of all ages, so young or old it does not matter. Why not give it a go and see for yourself?
