This Friday (12th June) we are in the big function room at Davenham Royal British Legion for a very special Guest Night. Our guest will be Chris Quinn.
Chris Quinn was born in London and spent his childhood in Germany attending British forces schools before moving to the UK at 16 to start a career as a singer-songwriter, acoustic guitarist, session musician, and recording artist.
Since 2001 Chris Quinn has toured extensively in The UK, Europe, Asia and the USA, performing both as a solo musician specialising in folk, blues, bluegrass, and jazz, and also as an accompanist to some of the world’s leading gypsy jazz guitarists such as Robin Nolan, Mozes Rosenberg, and Paulus Schäfer. He’s become known as one of Europe’s leading gypsy jazz rhythm guitarists.
Prestigious performances include The Cambridge Folk Festival, London’s Royal Albert Hall, B.B. Kings Blues Club New York, and touring as the opening act for the Jools Holland Orchestra.
