🏴‍☠️ Conwy Pirates were very busy last year!!

🤩 In addition to the dedication of organising Conwy Pirate Festival, multiple events were delivered supporting fundraising, charitable causes, good will initiatives and community support projects!

🎥 The wonderful Combat Wombat Inc.has put together a highlight video showcasing some of the work throughout 2025, showing the dedication and effort the members, volunteers and helpers have put in through these events…..

👀 It all starts again this year……..

🧜‍♀️ Yesterday I swam ashore to support RNLI Llandudno Lifeboat in raising much needed funds!

🏴‍☠️Conwy Pirates CIC were there with a number of their incredible games.

🚤 There was an amazing demonstration from the Inshore and Offshore lifeboats and crew………..

🚁 They were even joined by a Jupiter helicopter from RAF Valley!

✈️ Even the Red Arrows flew over later in the afternoon!

📅 This Sunday RNLI Llandudno Lifeboat are holding their open day

⏰ 1030am - 4pm

👀 Lots of things to see and do……

🚤 Boat Tour
🏴‍☠️ Pirate games with the Conwy Pirates CIC
🚤 Demonstration at 2pm from the lifeboats working alongside a helicopter from RAF Valley
🎂 Refreshents

🧜‍♀️ I’ll also be swimming along in support of the open day, helping to raise much needed funds!

🧜‍♀️ Sunday was a day ashore with land legs, to go along and support the RNLI Rhyl lifeboat day, along with Merbaby and my partner/wrangler Craig.

🚤 They do such incredible work rescuing those who find themselves in difficulty at sea.

🏴‍☠️ Conwy Pirates went along with their games to help raise some much needed funds!

🐕 It was also lovely to meet the wonderful Blackpool Working Newfoundlands dogs who carried out demonstrations of how they rescue people from the sea also!

🌊 Water safety is always so important! Please make sure you wear appropriate equipment such as life vest, follow the RNLI flags on lifeguards beaches and know how to self rescue for instances such as cold water shock.

📅 RNLI Llandudno Lifeboat will also be hosting their day on August 10th. Please do go along and give them the support they deserve!

😴 What a busy weekend ashore at the Anderton Boat Lift & Visitor Centre for their pirate weekend

👧 It was lovely to meet so many excited two leggers……and even those on four legs!

🐕 Got to meet some wonderful dogs like this gorgeous rescue dog Cora with her lovely mum! What a stunning girl ♥️

🏴‍☠️ Conwy Pirate Festival is back!!

📅 10th & 11th May on the Quay!!

👀 What can you expect, you ask?! Then let me tell you………

💥 Cannon fire and a pirate battle

🛢️Barrel racing

🎶 Live music from: Wombat & Mutley, The Whipperginnies & Black Rose Shanty Blues

🛍️ The Smugglers Market…..where you will find lots of different treasures including the wonderful Sweet Snowdonia and pHure-Liquors

🧜‍♀️ The Conwy Mermaid - I will be swimming and lounging on the quay with my mermaid wrangler by my side.

Also……….

⚓️ Old Time Sailors will also be headlining on the Saturday evening - from 7pm……but they are on sailor time!

🚨 Whilst the event is suitable for all……dogs and small children may not like the cannons as they can be quite loud 🚨

The annual event features a treasure hunt, barrel and keg race, music and entertainment, and the ever-popular pirate attack.

🤩 Well…… what a fintastic weekend spent in the beautiful Portmeirion!!

🏴‍☠️ Conwy Pirates were there showing the sheer power of the cannons.

🫖 There was teapot racing

👗 Stunning costumes from everyone

🎶 Live music from the amazing Wombat and Mutley

🧜‍♀️ Myself splashing around in the beautiful, ornamental pond…….apologies to those that dared venture into the splash zone!

♥️ And as ever…..my wonderful mermaid wrangler supporting me, carrying me and making sure I was ok! Thank you!
