Positivity is powerful. It’s the difference between “I can’t do it” and “I’ll give it a try.” It’s the spark that turns a wobble into a smile, a mistake into a lesson, and a challenge into a chance to grow.
What positivity looks like in daily life:
- Choosing encouragement over criticism
- Recognising effort, not perfection
- Seeing mistakes as part of learning
- Lifting others up with kind words
- Finding joy in the small wins
How we bring positivity to life at the FFF:
- Coaches model upbeat, supportive behaviour so children feel safe to try, fail, and try again
- Every child gets noticed, valued, and celebrated — not for being the best, but for being brilliantly themselves
- We praise teamwork, kindness, resilience, and bravery just as much as football skills
Our Blue Cards this month spotlight children who show positivity, whether that’s encouraging a teammate, bouncing back from a setback, or simply bringing a smile to the pitch
Positivity builds confidence. Confidence builds happiness. And happy children fall in love with football for life.
We want to make July a month full of smiles, encouragement, and those little moments that make children feel ten feet tall.
