🐾 HELP US SUPPORT THE EXOTIC PET REFUGE! 🐒🦊🦉

Northborough Events is proud to be fundraising for The Exotic Pet Refuge in Market Deeping at our upcoming Scottish Ceilidh New Year’s Eve Dance! 🎉💃

The Exotic Pet Refuge is a local charity that rescues and rehabilitates over 300 animals — including monkeys, meerkats, raccoons, wolves, lynx, owls, reptiles, and even an alligator! 🐍🦝
They also work alongside the RSPCA to help rehabilitate British wildlife. 🌿

💷 With annual running costs of £85,000, the Refuge depends on community donations to keep providing safe homes and expert care for these animals.

🎁 We’re asking local businesses and supporters to donate a gift voucher or prize for our charity raffle. Every contribution, large or small, helps make a real difference.

🎄 Over 60s Christmas Dinner 🎄

Christmas is coming, the turkey’s getting fat,
So spread the word, imagine that!
A festive feast for one and all,
At our village hall, you’ll have a ball!

A glass of wine or a fruity drink,
Good friends and laughter, don’t you think?
Cranberry, veggies, turkey too,
And pigs in blankets just for you!

A tasty starter to begin,
Then pudding sweet, now that’s a win!
A mince pie treat, with tea and cheer,
And bottomless coffee flowing !

Then take a twirl and clap your hands,
To the Hayley Duo’s 60s band!
From The Rubettes, you’ll sing along,
With “Baby Love” and every song!

So lovely people of our village,
Come join the fun — just as you are!
A Christmas dinner full of glee,

The Northborough Community Association is hosting our non-profit Christmas Dinner for the over 60s of Northborough and surrounding villages — and we’d love your help to make it extra special! 💛

We’re looking for kind volunteers to help with:
🥕 Prepping food
🎁 Setting up the hall
🍽️ Serving dinner
🧼 Washing up
🧹 Clearing away after

❌ Fleetwood Moc Tribute Night – Cancelled

Sadly, due to low ticket sales and lack of support we have had to cancel the Fleetwood Moc tribute night on Saturday 27th September.

Thank you to those who did buy tickets, refunds are being processed. We also know other venues locally have faced the same challenge with low ticket sales this season, and unfortunately the numbers weren’t there for us this time.

We will be back with our New Year’s Eve Celebration 🎉 details coming soon.
