Today we mark Holocaust Memorial at Northampton Borough Council.
A civic service will take place at noon with readings from Cllr Jonathan Nunn and deputy mayor Cllr Brian Sargent.
Followed by a community service tonight with readings from a number of community groups and emergency services.
❤️We must always remember the atrocities that occurred and never let history repeat.
❤️We as communities must stand together and work against hatred to all.
❤️We as cohesive communities are strong.

Hi Everyone. This is Lindsey Ambrose - I'm leaving NBC this week to join St Andrews Healthcare. It's been a pleasure to be involved with HMD in Northampton since 2005 and was an absolute joy to create a local Jewish heritage exhibition and trail (working with Jtrails and Northampton Youth Forum) and to organise the townwide Anne Frank Festival with Northampton Youth Forum which so many groups and
people of all ages, including local Holocaust survivors, kindly got involed with. If you would like to come to have a drink with me to mark my leaving NBC, you're welcome to join me at the Wig and Pen on St Giles Street from 4pm to 6pm on Thurs 27 Sept. The council is making arrangements for HMD 2013 with the now traditional ceremony in the Guildhall courtyard due to be 11am on Mon 28 Jan and the evening event at the Guildhall also on 28 Jan.
