✨House Blooms No.9

✨Simple vase arrangement using British blooms and some foraged stems and foliage

✨Choose a vase that has enough for you to create a lovely loose styled arrangement.

✨The foliage cross over in the vase giving a supporting structure for your blooms.

✨Hesperinth in lilac and whites, beautiful scented white lilac and frothy cow parsley dance from a cherry blossom base to give you a very natural, sweet scented arrangement

🌿House Blooms No.8

🌿 Conditioning, searing, vases and British blooms

🌿So that Cow Parsley and other garden blooms don’t wilt when cut there is a conditioning process called “Searing”

🌿 Give stems a sharp angled cut with clean scissors the put the freshly cut stems in 5cm deep boiled water. Watch the air bubbles rise out of the stems and after 30seconds place them in cold clean water to fully hydrate for a few hours.

🌿 Vases - choose wisely. Thin stems like a narrow necked vase and grouping receptacles together with just a few simple blooms can make a fantastic impact along a table

🌿 As long as you have beautiful blooms you really don’t need too many stems - quality not quantity!

🌿 Head over to mine or Becky’s website for more details of our full day workshops in July and September

🌷House Blooms No. 7

🌷A wonderful piece of wood with tubes and British Blooms

🌷I got this lovely piece of wood from my local woodman Ian. Such a great piece with lots of lovely lichen and moss. The test tubes are actually from a couple of spice racks from Tiger

🌷Hubby let me into his shed of joy to route out the holes and then the rest is easy!

🌷So simple and so effective - just keep your eye on the water levels as they can drink quicker than you think!

🥕House Blooms No 6

🥕A fun vase of flowers for the Easter table

🥕You’ll need some big carrots, column vase, flowers - whatever you fancy!

🥕Please be very careful when drilling the carrots - would hate for anyone to drill their fingers 😳
