"Man plans; God laughs!"

Yesterday we erected one of our units for a family function on what we all hoped would be a hot sunny August Bank Holiday weekend. We truly hope the customer has a great party.

But it's an old saying that "No plan survives first contact with the enemy" and in this country the enemy is usually the weather.. as we post this message, you can see that the weather is atrocious. Outside parties with no shelter can be a washout.

Those of you who know us and follow us know that we are a small, new, start-up family business. We are not trying to compete with the big boys and their big costs. (Although we have access to the big boys as we work in the industry).

We are intent on providing a good, friendly service with smaller affordable products. We are aiming at family-style garden events and providing you with the sort of shelter or marquee that meets your needs and doesn't 'break the bank'.

So today we have acquired another unit to broaden our offer to you. A 6.8m x 5m octagonal pagoda style marquee.

Today was a good day for us as we partnered Delapre Abbey Weddings to provide a sheltered venue for their prestigious Wedding Fayre.

The hot summer sun had moved away and it was a slightly cloudy day with the hint of a small sprinkle rain shower at any time.... a perfect reason to be thankful for our 8x4 and 6x4 Marquees as shelter. You never know.

We met some wonderful wedding artisans displaying their amazing skills and wares, some illustrated below. Click on the video to see how Delapre used our Units to accommodate these craftspeople.

How often is it that you get the chance to display your equipment and services at an iconic, historic venue like Delapre Abbey. It really is a special place.

Tomorrow is the amazing Delapre Wedding Fayre.

Today, on the hottest day of the year, we have put up three of our units. Two 8x4s and one 6x4. The Fayre organisers want shade for their wedding service providers.... no rain is forecast, but these suppliers will definitely need shade from the hot sun. It's going to be a belter.
