This week features Tor who was married at The Woodlands at Hothorpe 🌿 back in September 2025 😍
I asked Tor some questions and here’s what she had to say…

What made you choose myself - We chose you, because your prices were so reasonable & you were instantly friendly and approachable.
Your favourite products - The LOVE letters & the pallet for outside for our wedding timeline.
What made you choose your venue - We fell in love with the atmosphere and the vibe. It was everything we were looking for - being outdoorsy people it was perfect.
Favourite part of the day - Difficult to answer what part was our favourite, it was so lovely to spend time with your favourite people, all together. Some had travelled quite some distance to be with us - so it meant so much to have.
Advice for future couples - Enjoy it, soak it all up & trust the staff. They’re amazing & your guests will absolutely love it. It’s stunning.

🖤🌿 Fun fact.. whilst I was setting up the photographer told me that he was at a wedding once and someone had a similar sign and the registrars didn’t find it funny and refused to marry them!! 🫨 personally I don’t see anything wrong with a bit of light hearted fun!

You were friendly and approachable and affordable.
Flower wall and moon gate lots of compliments on these
After saying our vows and walking through the confetti- we got to see everyone for the first time and how happy and proud everyone was.
Make sure you factor in time alone. It’s hard as you are mingling all day but make sure you take a few minutes out here and there.
Venue- utilise the orangery it’s a beautiful building and is amazing at sunset( we did a sunset shoot in there)

I picked the wedding budget company because they shared so much on their social media about what they offer and pictures of each venue dressed up and they were super fast with their responses. The world of weddings are so expensive but we found the wedding company to be extremely reasonable with their prices! They were also so accommodating and really listened to us and made our dreams happen.
my absolute favorite item from our wedding day was the beautiful moon gate that we used at then end of the aisle and then again behind our top table during our meal! It felt so whimsical! I was so torn between the moon gate and the flower arches! I loved the look that the chair covers gave because our old looking church chairs were given an elegant look. It was also a beautiful touch to have the copper flower rail and neon sigh behind our cake! Items I absolutely loved but didn’t use due to having my own were the hurricane vases, top table flower arrangements and the Giant love letters!
