💜☕ Good morning!,
It's going to be a beautiful day and the dogs are bouncing with energy already!. The plant in this photo is a Stachys and I bought it last year from our local garden centre Whitegates Nursery Ltd . The bees absolutely love it and each time I walk past it, there's at least a dozen Bumblebees filling their boots. Having an insect friendly garden does give another level of enjoyment to the garden.
I'm thrilled to bits that FIGS Catering Company have generously jumped on-board and have offered to help with some tasty sandwiches for the Yorkshire Sober Social Afternoon Tea Party. The generosity from villagers, and local businesses has been amazing and the bigger picture of "organisation" is coming together nicely.
Today I'm celebrating 3 years and 10 months of sobriety/improved mental health. I don't feel super excited, perhaps that's because I have only the dogs to celebrate with, but on reflection I am extremely surprised I have reached this milestone. I think I'll celebrate by treating myself to some bedding plants for the hanging pots, the lobelia is looking rather drab.
