Violorn Events was set-up by husband and wife, James & Kate Wright. Kate is a world renowned, international violinist and regularly performs throughout the UK and abroad, captivating audiences with her sensational musical ability. Kate studied at Leeds University, before completing a masters degree at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester. Kate is in high demand, playing at luxury weddings and events and has years of experience in the events industry. Using this experience and with a keen eye for detail, Kate has a fantastic gift to plan and organise even the most sophisticated of events. Having worked with many top venues and suppliers, Kate can add tremendous value to your event planning and management. Starting at the age of 17, DJ-ing in bars and clubs, he quickly moved on to play at luxury weddings and events. He built up an excellent reputation as one of the best wedding DJ’s in the area, working with all the top venues. James’ interest in business and management, led him to study at Leeds University and he later qualified as a Chartered Accountant. James worked for one of the Big 4 Accountancy firms, before moving to work for a large multinational organisation, where he was responsible for the finances of a global business unit, with contracts and revenue in excess of £500m. This involved him living and working abroad, including Dubai, USA, Germany and Hungary. This international experience and knowledge of the corporate world is invaluable in helping our clients plan their events.
