We are bring back the competition to win a Flight in Bulldog 120/128 HKG-6 at our fly in event on Monday 26th May 2025!

Experience a rare and unique opportunity to fly in a former military aircraft, HKG-6 is a Scottish Aviation Bulldog built in 1977 and delivered to the Royal Hong Kong Auxiliary Airforce based at Kai Tak airport, where she served for the next 11 years flying reconnaissance missions over the South China Sea, returning to the UK in 1989, where she was registered as G BPCL and has been flying from North Weald ever since.

Raffle Tickets - £2.50 each or £10 a strip, all proceeds will be donated to Essex Air Ambulance based here at North Weald.

To celebrate VE Day 80th Anniversary we are hosting a Spring Bank Holiday Fly In and Ground Show.

This will be a great day with the opportunity to get up close and personal to vintage and GA aircraft, classic cars, military vehicles and lots more.

There will be many catering facilities and traders on site as well as experiences available on the day.

We will also be offering a heavily discounted fuel prices on the day for Avgas 100LL and JetA1. Prices to been announced soon.

C47 Dakota Taxi Ride

The Dakota or C47 Skytrain is one of the most iconic and revered aircraft of all time and was cited by General Dwight Eisenhower as one of the “tools of victory” that won World War II. It is one of those aircraft that was so well designed that it is hard to think of another aircraft that could replace it even today.

Aero Legends operate two examples and are excited to give you the opportunity to experience what it is like to taxi and get up to almost take off speed in one of them. You can imagine that you are heading out to the Normandy Invasion beaches (Operation Overlord) or Arnhem (Operation Market Garden) or crossing the Rhine (Operation Varsity).

Aero Legends Congratulates Flt Lt Charlie Brown on Surpassing 2000 Spitfire Hours! 🎉✈️

We are thrilled to celebrate a truly remarkable milestone: Flt Lt Charlie Brown, Aero Legends’ Head of Training, has officially surpassed 2000 flying hours in Spitfires! 👏

Charlie joined the RAF in 1981 and has had an extraordinary flying career, including time in Tornados, Jet Provosts, and has spent the last few decades as a highly skilled civilian display pilot.

As one of the world’s most experienced Spitfire pilots, Charlie’s dedication to preserving aviation history is an inspiration. Whether training the next generation of aviators or flying with Aero Legends, his passion and skill embody the very spirit of these legendary aircraft.
