What happens when two animal loving metal heads get married? A great freaking day is what happens!

Last weekend saw me off over the wall to sunny Lancashire. I've been told it rains there a lot, but being Scottish, I know exactly how that feels. The strange yellow thing in the sky hurt when looking at it but it did make for a beaut of a day so I won't grumble too much.

Pippa & Joe know how to do a wedding, from tables that screamed with personality, to an owl ring bearer, they did things their way and I'm glad I was along to capture it.

Highlights include a s**t tonne of skulls (try and spot the tiny one on Joe), a 2000's Kerrang inspired band who played all the tunes of my youth and some absolute top tier banter, I don't think I've enjoyed winding so many people up in a while. Also, Pippa being gifted her very own patched vest, teenage me would have been super jealous of the giant Korn patch.

Guys, it was an honour to have been part of your day, thanks for having me along 🤟

Epic, absolutely epic is how I'd describe yesterdays wedding and I have a sneaking suspicion everyone who ventured to Netherbyres for Lucie & Ben's wedding would agree.

Where do I start? Some top tier banter is always a good way to begin the day so I'm glad to say that it began before I even got to step in the front door. A combination of a super chilled day with a group who wanted to party and then some pretty much sums it up how it went.

Netherbyres is one of the coolest venues, I'm always happy heading back, and since this couple have a flair for design it was the perfect setting to have their wedding the way they wanted it.

Think some spicy margs, strong old fashioned's and a cake that was a work of art and you're on the right tracks. Also, how do you go about choosing who's name goes first if you're double barreling it? Well, these two decided to give that power to their guests with a wee voting card under everyone's seat, absolute genius.

Highlights include, working with the talented Paul (for the second time this week), the incredible Moroccan feast we were treated to and a couple who trusted me to do what I do and capture the day as it happened. Another wee mention to the guys at pizza geeks, their pizzas are epic and just what you need for a drive home.

Guys, it was an honour to have been part of your day, thanks for having me along 🤟

Wednesday saw me off West, this time to the joyful Johnstone and the lovely Lynnhurst (see the alliteration I managed there) for the wedding of Cheryl & Andy.

They had a wee wedding, celebrated by close family and friends before the carnage with the 100 evening guests rocking up ready to party and that's exactly what they did.

I had a few firsts, drinking coffee from their 'quaich' which as a coffee lover made me smile and line dancing, something we see all the time with the slosh but this was on another level. That's what happens when you get a couple who want to do their wedding their way, a lot of fun, energy and smiles which I always encourage.

Wee shout to Paul for his amazing ceremony, if you're looking for a humanist he always comes recommended.

Guys it was an honour to have been part of your day, hope you like your previews 🤟

Last week saw me back in Glasgow for not one but two shoots, this time around it was the turn of Sian & Evan who got married all the way over in the land of the hobbits before coming back home to celebrate with their friends and family. It was a brand new venue for me, The exchange, and I'm glad to say I'll be heading back as it's a gem of a place.

Due to timings, we didn't have a tonne of time before the reception for a couple shoot but I managed a cheeky few photos after we got the groups out the way before the party started and damns, what a party it was.

A mixture of some ceilidh and a dj set meant all bases were covered and made sure that everyone could enjoy themselves!

It was a great evening and I'm honoured to have been part of the night, hope you like your previews guys 🤟

10 frames of goodness from Aberdour.

Busy weekend for me, yesterday Millport and today, somewhere much closer to home, Aberdour.

This time round I was meeting up with Berlyn & Joey plus their adorable twins, August & Misty. We caught up with a coffee before going a stroll down to the harbour and beach, luckily the two wee monsters slept for a while, giving us some time to practice some posing and just enjoying the sunshine.

At the end, Misty decided she'd had enough sleep and wanted to be part of the photoshoot so August was woken from his slumber to they could both get some time in front of the camera. The two of them were super cute but think August takes after his dad and his love of the camera.

On a side note, I got to see the wedding invitations and they are top tier, think classic horror B movie and you'll be on the right tracks...

It's definitely going to be an epic wedding later on in the year but for now, hope you like your previews guys 🤟

10 frames from Millport.

Yesterday saw me off to Millport for the first time to meet up with Elaine & Danny for their pre wedding shoot. It was an absolute beaut of a day but god damn, I forgot how tricky the harsh light can be when there's no shade anywhere. Millport was a gem of a place and somewhere I'll definitely visit again.

These two did great even though they were a touch camera shy so hopefully the bit of practice comes in handy for their wedding in a few months time, but this time somewhere a little closer to home and an epic venue, St Lukes.

How can I forget to mention the two stars of the show, Archie & Rigby? Archie was happy getting out for a wee walk and Rigby was a mentalist but a bundle of energy all the same.

Guys, hope you like your previews 🤟

Hey strangers, it's been a minute since I posted but took some well needed time off and now raring to go.

The frist pre wedding shoot of the year featured a four legged friend called Raffi who tbh was absolutely mental, not that you can tell from these photos as she done a great job posing alongside her parents, Pippa & Joe.

We braved the lovely Fife weather, cold, rainy and just dreich in the lovely wee village of Elie and I think these two will happily venture back up as the Fife coast is an incredible part of Scotland.

Hope you like your previews guys, it was a great photo shoot and thanks for travelling all the way up from down South for it.
