📰 We’re in the news! Lincat powers up with solar

We’re delighted to see our latest sustainability investment featured in Catering Insight.

Our new rooftop solar installation at our Lincoln manufacturing facility will generate approximately 26% of our annual electricity requirements – another important step in our journey towards more sustainable British manufacturing.

With the remainder of our electricity sourced through 100% renewable electricity tariffs, our Lincoln site is now powered entirely by renewable energy.

As our Managing Director, Ginnie Basra, explains:
“Sustainability isn’t a separate initiative at Lincat – it’s becoming part of the way we think, invest and manufacture.”

This investment is part of our wider commitment to reducing our environmental impact, improving energy efficiency and developing products that help our customers achieve more while using less.

Paul Newboult from our despatch team completed his skydive on Sunday and raised an incredible £700 for The Midlands Air Ambulance, surrounded by his friends and family who all made the 2½ hour journey to support him

Speaking to Paul yesterday, he was still overwhelmed after completing such an amazing accomplishment, but he said it was a life changing experience, and was very grateful to his team, supporters and Lincat for encouraging him to make the leap. We are all so proud of him and he is already planning his next one!

The Midlands Air ambulance have also been in touch to pass on their thanks to Paul for this fantastic achievement and his support of the charity.
