From roof lanterns, the turret room, to its striking windows and intricate architectural details.

It was designed to be admired, and we are inviting you to celebrate it with us by submitting a creation or piece to display on Heritage Day [13 September].

Pictures are lovely… but nothing beats walking through the Old Library in person 👀

It’s been a joy welcoming visitors into The Workshop - watching faces light up as they see how this beloved building is evolving into a vibrant cultural space.

We’re still in our early chapter, yet the shift already feels remarkable. The bones of the Library remain, its architecture still telling its story, while we carefully preserve its past and dream boldly about its future.

Want to explore it yourself? Heritage Day is the perfect chance. Join us for guided tours and hands‑on activities throughout the day.
