Kevin Sinfield has helped raise more than £16m in aid of motor neurone disease since former Leeds team-mate Rob Borrow was diagnosed in December 2019; Burrow lost his battle to MND in June aged 41

On this horrible winter morning think of others, support Kevin & team running through the wind and rain “ running home for Christmas” to raise awareness of the horrendous disease MND. 8years ago tomorrow we lost our friend Jack to Motor Neurons Disease and my heart aches for anyone with such a cruel diagnosis. 25 yrs ago Helen & Kevin Baird lost her son and his dad Stanley Baird to MND. Still no cure. With your help and Kevin Sinfield’s awesome effort raising awareness and funds hopefully the clever scientists will find a cure as soon as possible.

Easily 10 yrs ago Luke (Carson) who trains Rhys was in JF Bridal getting fitted for a suit and he told me about Rhys the gymnast he had great hopes for. I’ve watched their progress ever since and even after Tokyo to just keep believing that you were destined for greatness is inspirational. The Norn Iron motto “Dare to Dream” It is incredible what our Olympic heroes have achieved, many congratulations. I’ll be there this afternoon to show how proud I am. I hope the future youth will be inspired to go for 🥇. 4.30pm in Conway Square

I’m delighted that today we celebrate the success of our Olympians. The inspiration of their “ power of positivity” , their resilience and finally their reward for all their hard work and determination should be applauded. Late Blossom, sure its better late than never, but one thing about bridal you have got to be ready on time. This time of year weddings, flowers and Chelsea Flower Show is always in my mind. Just like the exhibitors we want perfection on the day. I hope the girls from Helensbay and anyone else visiting from NI are enjoying the show, I may just sew my flowers.

When I went into work this morning I couldn’t help but see that even my post box outside the shop window has taken on the latest fashion trend for post boxes. On closer inspection I recognised the Cool FM breakfast crew. Thanks to everyone involved in cheering up Church Street, hope everyone got an egg for Easter 🐣 Happy Easter Everyone
