Orange Tree House is an award winning conference and wedding venue located on the shores of the beautiful Strangford Lough in the pretty, historic village of Greyabbey. Our function room is a beautiful old stone barn style church which was built in the 1820's. We have a stunning lounge bar overlooking Strangford Lough towards the Mourne Mountains. Our in-house chefs produce fantastic food and we have a fully stocked bar. Viewings are by appointment only.

The most amazing day at Orange Tree House for the beautiful wedding of .jones & Luke and I have to admit this is 1 of my favourite ever setups in this gorgeous venue.....i think Ellen's mummy would agree too (this beautiful lady got quite emotional when we were showing her and Ellen the ceremony room after we had it setup) not gonna lie, seeing there reaction had me totally emotional too .❤️

We designed, created and styled:
* all the bouquets, buttonholes etc for the entire Bridal party
* welcome flower box Sandwich board (forgot to photograph this lol)
* aisle decor - draping, florals and candles
* styled ceremony table with draping and florals
* floral pillar ceremony backdrop.
* signing table draping and florals
* floral centrepieces with table runners and hurricane vases
* top table styling and florals
* cake backdrop.

With an amazing array of suppliers on hand, this truly was the perfect day...not forgetting the man, the myth, the legend....Michael at Orange Tree over-seeing the entire day!!

On Wednesday 14th October, we’ll be welcoming guests to Orange Tree House for An Evening of W**e & Cheese with Sommelier Noel McMahon. With just a handful of places remaining, we’d love you to join us. ✨

Over the course of the evening, Noel will guide you through seven carefully selected w**es, each expertly paired with a complementary artisan cheese, all enjoyed in the relaxed surroundings of Orange Tree House.

Along the way, you’ll discover the characteristics of each w**e, why each pairing works and some of the principles behind pairing food and w**e - all delivered in Noel’s warm and engaging style.

To Michael - from the very first time we came to see the venue we knew we would be in such good hands with you. You instantly made us feel very relaxed and at ease, and we knew the day would be easy with you guiding us through it. Your attention to detail and calming reassurance in every part of the day was so appreciated. From keeping Mark calm despite me running late (sorry!), keeping the whole bridal party on track and ensuring the dresses were sitting perfectly, and keeping the whole day flowing and even managing to catch us up on time. So many of our family and guests have commented on how fab you were throughout the day so please know how appreciated this is!

To Chelsea - thank you for keeping us right throughout the whole planning process and responding to all our queries so quickly, right up to the day of the ceremony. We thought wedding planning would be daunting and at times very difficult, but you honestly made it all feel so easy!

To the wider team - thank you for ensuring every part of the day went so seamlessly. For dressing the room even better than we could have imagined for each part of the day - the ceremony, the wedding breakfast and the rest of the evening. The level of service we had all day was absolutely flawless, with the whole team going above and beyond for us and our guests.

And as for the food - WOW! We knew we were in for a treat after the tasting session and open days, and honestly every single thing was simply delicious! So many of our guests have told us it was the nicest wedding meal they have ever had by a long way. The canapés in the afternoon also went down an absolute treat - especially the sausages which we must have heard about dozens of times during the day!

The moment we set foot in the venue we knew it was the one for us, and every little thing has been utterly flawless ever since - you really helped us create our perfect special day. So from the bottom of our hearts, thank you so much 😊"

"What can we say - what an absolute dream!

From the moment we viewed Orange Tree to the moment we got in our wedding car to leave as a newly married couple, everything was so seamless. We can’t thank Michael, Chelsea and all the wonderful staff who made our day on Saturday so special enough. The venue is beautiful in and of itself, but the attentiveness, efficiency, warmth and friendliness of the staff made it a day to remember. We can’t fault anything about the day. Michael's calmness under pressure made us both feel so at ease and allowed us to enjoy our day without a care in the world! Everyone went above and beyond and this was not missed amongst ourselves, our family and all of our guests, who spoke so highly on the venue and the running of the day.

We will be recommending the venue to everyone we know so we hope it won’t be the last time we will be making a visit!
