Orange Tree House is an award winning conference and wedding venue located on the shores of the beautiful Strangford Lough in the pretty, historic village of Greyabbey. Our function room is a beautiful old stone barn style church which was built in the 1820's. We have a stunning lounge bar overlooking Strangford Lough towards the Mourne Mountains. Our in-house chefs produce fantastic food and we have a fully stocked bar. Viewings are by appointment only.

Our team always try to go above and beyond for our couples, so we were over the moon to receive such a heartfelt message from Jessica & Jack after their beautiful wedding earlier this month 🥰

"What can we say - what an absolute dream!

From the moment we viewed Orange Tree to the moment we got in our wedding car to leave as a newly married couple, everything was so seamless. We can’t thank Michael, Chelsea and all the wonderful staff who made our day on Saturday so special enough. The venue is beautiful in and of itself, but the attentiveness, efficiency, warmth and friendliness of the staff made it a day to remember. We can’t fault anything about the day. Michael's calmness under pressure made us both feel so at ease and allowed us to enjoy our day without a care in the world! Everyone went above and beyond and this was not missed amongst ourselves, our family and all of our guests, who spoke so highly on the venue and the running of the day.

We will be recommending the venue to everyone we know so we hope it won’t be the last time we will be making a visit!

Join us on Wednesday 14th October for a relaxed evening of exceptional wines and artisan cheeses, overlooking beautiful Strangford Lough. ✨

Hosted by Sommelier Noel McMahon, you'll be guided through seven carefully selected wines, each expertly paired with a complementary cheese. Along the way, Noel will share his knowledge of each wine, the principles behind food and wine pairing and why each combination works so well.

With over 21 years' experience in the wine industry, Noel brings a wealth of knowledge to the evening, but it is his warm and entertaining approach that means you certainly don't need to be a wine expert to enjoy it.

Whether you're joining us with friends, planning a date night or simply fancy trying something new, we'd love to welcome you.

Following an incredible response from our Priority List, the remaining tickets are now available to book.

Where do we even begin? Thank you so so much from both of us for helping us create the most perfect wedding we could have imagined.

To Michael - from the very first time we came to see the venue we knew we would be in good hands. You instantly made us feel very relaxed and we knew the day would be easy with you guiding us through it. Your attention to detail and calming reassurance in every part of the day was so appreciated. From keeping Mark calm despite me running late (sorry!), keeping the whole bridal party on track and ensuring the dresses were sitting perfectly, and keeping the whole day flowing and even managing to catch us up on time. It made the day so relaxing for us knowing you were there to keep us right!

To Chelsea - thank you for keeping us right throughout the whole planning process and responding to all our queries so quickly, right up to the day of the ceremony. We thought wedding planning would be daunting and at times very difficult, but you made it all feel so easy!

To the wider team - thank you for ensuring every part of the day went so seamlessly. For dressing the room even better than we could have imagined for each part of the day - the ceremony, the wedding breakfast and the rest of the evening. The level of service we had all day was absolutely flawless, with the whole team going above and beyond for us and our guests.

And as for the food - WOW! We knew we were in for a treat after the tasting session and open days, and honestly every single thing was simply delicious! So many of our guests have told us it was the nicest wedding meal they have ever had by a long way.

The moment we set foot in the venue we knew it was the one for us, and every little thing has been utterly flawless ever since - you really helped us create our perfect special day. So from the bottom of our hearts, thank you so much 😊

After many requests over the years, we're delighted to share that our much-loved Afternoon Teas will be making a return this Autumn and Winter.

Expect delicious homemade treats, beautiful surroundings and the chance to enjoy Orange Tree House in a completely different setting ✨

Dates are currently being finalised, but if you'd like to be among the first to hear when bookings open, we'd love to add you to our priority waiting list.
