A couple of weeks ago we were honoured to support a beautiful memorial service with full audio visual coverage and live streaming, allowing loved ones near and far to come together in remembrance.

Last Friday, we revisited the wonderful St Peter’s Church in Tiverton to provide audio visual services to enable friends and family to say their farewells to a loved one.

We provided:

Our discrete live streaming services*, whereby we utilise small inconspicuous remote controllable cameras and set up a control position out of view of attendees.

Our service recording package - this comes as standard with our live streaming packages.

Video Tribute creation - the client provided a selection of photos that we beautifully set to a particular piece of music.

Venue screens - we provided 2 x 58” screens for the video tribute creation.

Sound System - the was provided in addition to the screens to replay music.

Bonded Internet Connection - although the venue has an excellent Internet connection, we always bond multiple connections together to ensure that if any of them fail the live stream will continue.

We had viewers from the United Kingdom 🇬🇧, the United States 🇺🇸 and Thailand 🇹🇭.

*Testament to the effectiveness of our “discrete” live streaming package, the person who was operating sound in the church was very surprised to hear that we were live streaming at a previous service that he had attended. He’d had no idea of our presence that day. Box ticked! ✅

Yesterday we provided live-streaming and recording services to a funeral at the wonderful St Peter’s church in Tiverton.

Following on from the previous success of a discrete presence within the church we deployed two BirdDog P100 cameras and set up the control position out of sight in another (unseen to attendees) part of the church.

With the addition of some BirdDog Flex 4K converters, this meant that all cabling to cameras was just a single ethernet cable combining control, power and video output via a single cable.

With perhaps the most diversely located viewers to date, we had live viewers in the United Kingdom 🇬🇧, Honduras 🇭🇳, Australia 🇦🇺, the United States 🇺🇸, Thailand 🇹🇭, Spain 🇪🇸 and Slovakia 🇸🇰.

Subsequent watchers of the now on demand version of the stream have been located in Hong Kong 🇭🇰, New Zealand 🇳🇿 and Germany 🇩🇪.

Last Friday we provided audio and projection services to a funeral to help people celebrate and say goodbye to a loved one.

At the church, a Yamaha DM3 with RCF ART310A speakers, AKG, Audio-Technica and Sennheiser microphones were taking care of the audio side of things.

At the reception, an Epson 4000 lumen laser projector and Da-Lite 3m x 1.75m fast fold screen were showing a slideshow we’d made with photographs provided by the client.

Yesterday we provided live-streaming and recording services to a funeral to help people celebrate and say goodbye to a loved one.

The client was particularly concerned about the process being distracting to the attending mourners so asked us to be a discrete as possible. With this is mind, we deployed two Birddog P100 cameras and set up the control position out of sight in another (unseen to attendees) part of the church.

The client was delighted with the result and we had viewers in the United Kingdom 🇬🇧, South Africa 🇿🇦, the Czech Republic 🇨🇿 and Australia 🇦🇺.

A Peplink bonded 5G/Starlink system was used as the internet connection and the service was streamed through a bespoke online streaming site that we created for this client.

Last Thursday we took a trip up the M5 to the Roses Theatre, Tewkesbury.

We were working again with our good friends The Lorna & Laister Show.

Matinee performances are still taking a bit of getting used to but the audiences absolutely love this show. You can’t beat a bit of good old fashioned variety!

Last Friday we headed up to Porlock to provide audio relay services for a funeral service. The church isn’t huge and there were a lot of people who wanted to attended the service, so we relayed the service outside at the front and at the side of the church.

In addition to this, a basic record of the service was requested, so we positioned an iPhone at the back of the church and used Filmic Pro to get the most out of the phone’s camera. The audio was recorded directly from the mixer and overlayed onto the phone footage afterwards.

Last week we provided a screen and a splash of coloured lighting for an event our friends over at The Music Depot in Exeter were hosting.

The event was titled “How To Sight Read” and was an event by Paul Harris. We found the presentation really interesting! If you are interested in learning to sight read, no matter what age you might be, his latest book is a must have!
