Hi folks
Thank you for all the support over the last 19 years (can’t believe it’s been that long)
A major indicator of how old I’m getting 🙈
I have learned so much had so much fun and hope that my work helped in some way to make all your celebrations enjoyable.

Thank you for every bit of custom I had over the years it’s been a blast 💥

However it’s came to the stage that I need a change (don’t worry not going too far removed from the party aspect).

I hope to see some of you in the future in the new adventure…..

While I’m still on maternity (I will be getting back to work really soon I promise 😜😜)

I normally don’t do these kind of posts..
However I couldn’t let this weekend go by without commenting on the passing of a true gentleman and a wonderful business owner which many could only hope to achieve his work ethic and drive, Mr Mick Downey.

It as been a pleasure to do work for you on many occasions throughout the years and you probably didn’t even realise the help that you gave me at the start of my business letting me loose on your premises from the halloween displays in SuperValu to the Halloween, Christmas and Valentine scenes in cobbles, the madness of New Year’s Eve in the bank. I will be forever grateful.
It was always a pleasure to turn up to the venues to do my work for both our customers and running into yourself and having a chat about everything and anything!
No matter how busy you were you always took time to speak to everyone with a smile and fix what you thought needed fixing even if it didn’t look out of place to anyone else.

The best ones are always taken first 💔

Hi everyone
I was planning a completely different post about thanking everyone for their support from the day I opened and particularly the extra support I have received during the last number of years. Thank you all ###x

I’m going to post this -

Stay safe people and self isolate.

I went from having bookings for St Patrick’s day, communions, confirmations and parties to overnight every thing shut down, every life event cancelled from celebrating the way you wanted it, to spending time with your very nearest and dearest inside your own 4 walls.

Let’s hope we all get to celebrate the missed occasions on the other side.

My Self Employed pals. As this says blood , sweat and tears to build up a business. I do think something will happen but right now these guys heads must be spinning. When this is over we must all still pull together and get folk back on their feet. If wee Davy wants his aftershave shared..share it , If Nancy wants her nail business shared , share it. If Billy wants his new bathroom he fitted shared..Share it

They don’t own a premises - no £10k grant.

They don’t employ staff - no 80% of their wage covered to retain them.

They aren’t employed - no 80% of their wage covered.

They can apply for universal credit and get a maximum of 300 odd quid, but if you live with a partner who’s lucky enough to have a wage then you’ll get nothing.

They haven’t been given definitive direction to close, but all of their clients are cancelling and their industries are mounting pressure and shame on them to close - the same people who are getting grants and their staff are getting 80% of their wages paid.

They know they have to do social distancing. But they are a few days away from zero income.

And these people have built their businesses from zero with unimaginable amounts of blood, sweat and tears.

Please be compassionate and empathetic to your freelancer friends, their world is crumbling around them and they are haven’t been thrown the same lifeline as you. They are being forced to make horrendously difficult decisions and don’t need any more shame from anyone else.
