Loading… the proudest day of the year for a lot of parents 📸✨

John Poland Drum School took over the Canal Court for their annual showcase 🥁 with John’s students and special guests ABC Sharp Music bringing the drums and guitars 🎸 If you’ve ever been, you’ll know the function rooms are packed and the phones are out before the first beat 📱👏

Our job was the photo spot 📷 Somewhere for every young musician to stand for a picture they’ll want to keep, whether they were up first or closing the show 🤘

Huge well done to everyone who played 🙌🎶

Black, white and a little bit of silver. It’s the kind of room we’ll be thinking about for a while 🪩 Everything came together just the way we pictured it, and seeing it filled with laughter, dancing and proud faces made it even better 💫

Plenty of colours, one clear winner 🖤🤍🪩

The disco ball wall was the most requested piece of formal season, and we styled it a different way nearly every time. Black and white still has our hearts though. Nothing else catches the light quite like it.

One afternoon, two spaces, one feeling 💜

The corridor set the mood and the stage held the conversation, and we wanted both to feel like they belonged to the same story. Calm, confident and completely for her 🌸

Women’s health is too often squeezed into rushed appointments and quiet worries. Days like this give it the time and the room it deserves, and it meant a lot to us to help create that ✨

To everyone who organised, spoke, listened and shared, thank you for letting us be part of something that genuinely matters 🤍

Big blooms for big conversations 🌸

This stage was where the real talk happened, so it needed to feel warm, open and a little bit special without getting in the way.

That’s where the oversized flowers came in. Scale does something that a hundred small touches can’t. It lifts the eye, fills the space and softens a room that could easily have felt formal 🌷

Paired with comfy chairs, it stopped looking like a stage and started looking like somewhere you’d actually want to sit down and be honest ✨

Pretty, yes. But mostly it was about making the space feel as welcoming as the conversation itself 💗

An afternoon all about you 💜

That was the brief, and honestly, it’s not a sentence most women hear often enough. So we wanted the space to say it before anyone on stage did.

We took a plain corridor and gave it a bit of drama 🌿 soft canopies of green overhead, light that glows rather than glares, and signage that tells you straight away this time is yours ✨

Because when an event is about slowing down, looking after yourself and being listened to, the room should feel like it’s on your side from the very first step 🤍

Thank you for trusting us with this one. It was a joy to be part of 🙌

St Catherine’s College formal at The Glenavon Hotel ✨

Most photo spots ask you to stand in front of something. This one asks you to step into it.

That carved gold edge turns every snap into a portrait that looks like it should be hanging in a gallery, except it’s your best mate pulling a face beside you. Grand old frame, formal-night chaos inside it. That mix is why it’s become one of the pieces we reach for when we want a night to feel a bit different.

St Catherine’s College formal at The Glenavon Hotel 💚

This room was St Catherine’s through and through, in its own colours, from the door to the dance floor.

A school that’s been around since 1859 carries a lot of history, and a formal is the night a class gets to add their own chapter to it. We wanted the Class of 2027 to look around and feel like the place was theirs, right down to a jersey for the ones who live for the pitch.

There’s a reason this one keeps coming out of the van. A backdrop sits behind you; our XL frame puts an edge around the night. Whoever steps in, whether it’s the date, the best friend or the whole table at once, lands inside a picture that already looks finished before the camera clicks.

It’s the shot that ends up in the group chat, on the fridge, and back out again at the ten-year reunion.
