For neurodivergent couples, and for guests with sensory sensitivities, traditional wedding expectations can sometimes feel overwhelming. With thoughtful planning, however, it’s possible to create a celebration that feels gentle, inclusive and deeply personal.
We have been delighted to work with a number of neurodivergent couples who have shared with us that they may approach things differently or have specific needs on their wedding day. We always encourage couples to share as much as they feel comfortable, so that we can gain a genuine understanding and tailor their experience accordingly.
At Treseren, we believe weddings are most beautiful when they unfold at a slower pace — with space for connection, reflection and joy. There is no single way to get married. Whether you walk into your ceremony together, keep moments informal, or shape a day that quietly breaks from tradition, your comfort and wellbeing matter most.
Our journal explores how a neurodivergent-friendly wedding can feel nurturing, unhurried and authentically yours — held within the calm of the Cornish countryside.
