1)Windmills will help you increase hip mobility and hamstring flexibility, strengthen your glutes and core muscles (including your obliques – the muscles on the sides of your torso). The overhead position will strengthen your lats and improve your shoulder mobility and stability.

There are many protocols that you can use to improve over head overhead mobility. Start by neutralizing the spine, then work outwards from there. This means looking at the body as a whole from the ground up. An anterior pelvic tilt that causes thoracic rounding, coupled with weak lower traps and overactive/tight upper traps and obviously lats are usual suspects.

Here are just 2 simple ways you can improve shoulder mobility and flexibility.

1) Overhead band assisted Lat Stretching
2) Lat pullovers ➡️ will significantly improve overhead mobility by stretching the latissimus dorsi muscles, which often restrict shoulder movement when tight.

By improving your range of motion and mobility you will by default become stronger.
