And just like that, August came and went.

The weather got the memo for the busiest month in Cornwall and we had a blast.

We celebrated festival season with the WAX Events Co Garden Party and the return of the skate ramp as part of Boardmasters.

We continued with the surfing theme, giving away an incredible prize to one lucky winner.

Two of our wonderful team were recognised during our Superstar of the Month awards and announced the amazing addition of Sue Williams to our board as a non-executive director.

Our annual search for a witch began as we prepare for our Wickedly Witchy Afternoon Brew in October.

We supported our friends at Perranporth Golf Club by sponsoring a day during their annual golf week, entering a team of three to take part too.

We also spent some time with our director, Mr Armstrong, filming with the team from Blystra Arts ahead of its 'Stories From The Station' event at the hotel later this month.

Not forgetting we welcomed so many lovely guests to Cornwall, created memories and had a great time doing it, roll on September.

It is nearly time for our family director, Veryan, to embark on her mammoth cycle from Champagne, France to Canterbury, Kent.

The challenge is raising funds for Hospitality Action , who support workers in the hospitality industry across the country.

At The Headland, we’ve seen first-hand the difference their support makes through their amazing Employee Assistance Programme.
