Hailing from Romford, Essex, Lucy Kitt is a captivating singer-songwriter whose music brings together the warmth of 1970s Laurel Canyon folk, country blues and ’90s indie rock, wrapped around honest, heartfelt songwriting and a beautifully raw acoustic sound.

With a career spanning more than 20 years, Lucy has played some of the UK’s most-loved festivals, including Glastonbury and Cambridge Folk Festival, and has built a reputation for intimate, authentic performances that draw you right into the songs.

Her latest album, Telling Me, showcases Lucy at her storytelling best — personal, warm, honest and full of beautifully observed moments.

And now she’s bringing that sound to Penhallow House for a very special Doobie Fest performance.
