This International Friendship Day, we’re celebrating the connections made through repair: volunteers sharing skills, neighbours helping neighbours, and communities coming together to give broken items a second chance.

Another great statistic from Repair Cafe Wales about the great work that the local Cafes are doing across Wales.
The next Rogerstone Repair Cafe will take place on Saturday 22nd August. Why not come along to the Ty-Du Hall at the Welfare Ground and check out the great work by the local volunteers.
Everyone is very welcome, even if you only want come along for a chat over a coffee and cake.
Have you ever thought about volunteering? It’s a great way to meet new people and feel part of something exciting, you don’t have to have a skill to join us.

Between January and June 2026, we’ve saved an amazing 5,180 items from ending up in landfill!

None of this work would be possible without our incredible volunteers putting work in month after month! 🫶

A very busy morning at the Rogerstone Repair Cafe. Twenty-Seven items fixed or attempted to be fixed.

Here are some pictures of items fixed today.

A big thank you to all our volunteers - fixers, admin and doing refreshments.

The next one is Saturday 22nd August at the welfare grounds 10am - 1pm.

⭐️ Just a few examples of the great work achieved at the local Rogerstone Repair Cafe over the past 6 months ⭐️

We have a great group of volunteers on hand to welcome you and help fix your broken/damaged items, textiles, bikes, small household electrical items, toys to even a labelling machine brought in by the local Police team.

Why not come along on Saturday 25th July 10am -1pm to the Ty-Du Hall, the Welfare ground.

We are always on the look out for volunteers to help continue the great effort of Repair Cafe Wales in saving items from the rubbish pile. It’s not just about fixing items, we need people on the front desk, admin support, kitchen duties.
It’s a great opportunity to get out and meet people from your local community too, so why not come along and have a chat over a cup of tea/coffee. There will always be a warm welcome.

Why not not come along to the next Rogerstone Repair Cafe on Saturday 25th July and see what is happening. Our amazing fixers will be on hand to have a chat and fix your broken items plus our admin and refreshment volunteers can help/chat to you about the Repair Cafe.
New volunteers are always welcome, we need you to help us carry on the great work.

Why not come along to the Rogerstone Repair Cafe on Saturday morning 25th July in the Tu-Du Hall at the Welfare Ground. We are open 10am - 1pm.
We may not have a seamstress available on the day due to holidays unless there are any willing volunteers available in the area!! Everyone welcome and there is always tea/coffee and cake available.
